The only person I know that has the power to change thread titles that is not a dev, is AJK

What do you mean, you just go to the first post in the thread, select edit, and then go to the advanced editor.  Not anything special to my knowledge.  lol.

Well, I dunno, maybe you are doing it wrong.  Its got to be a thread that you created, and then you go to that thread, go to the first post and select edit, and then you select "full editor" and its right on the page.  I dunno, I can do it, I thought everyone could.
