[Call_Me_Ishmael]

Game play this morning is just as bad as LA or Ashburn but with 20 ping (I'm in Dallas on FIOS).

 

I experience microchop - stutter update in EVERYTHING, not just position.  It feels a lot like low FPS (but I have 122fps permanently on an i7 GTX770).

 

I have to shoot where I think people will be, and find out next chop if I were correct.

 

I had it with three and four people on Facility, then this got worse with more than 5 people on the Bazaar/in match, and when there was 12, it was B A D, bad.

 

I have many of the other issues as on LA servers on the Dallas servers, except hit registration is marginally better.

 

Can tickrate can be adjusted, and is the anti-DDOS-ware present?

 

The servers were reset (or Hawken booted me out) before I could record the server id, I'm sorry.

According to the support ticket I filed, which is where this stuff is supposed to go, the issue is the DDOS mitigation on the new *-gpu-* servers interfering with UDP packet delivery. They won't be around much longer, I don't think.

 I *think* it was not a *gpu* server.

 

I'll try with a VPN from Austin in a moment.

 

Amid, I submitted a ticket for LA servers last weekend.

On the non-GPU servers the usual crap is solved by VPN.  Tracert (and Process Explorer) tell me these are AWS servers again.
