First one, the second doesn't really show mecha...(?)  I'm not sure what that anime is doing at all...  Couldn't get through the first episode.

 

The second one is actually a web-browser game called "Kantai Collection", and it's purely in Japanese. 

 

Kantai Collection is basically an alternate universe in which every warship in Earth history is a cute, anime girl instead of being a hunk of metal. You are an admiral with your own fleet of ship girls and you fight other ship girls.

 

It's pretty interesting and has a massive following. So much so that they're making an anime of it now.

How the hell did I miss Attack on Titan? I watched the entire thing and started over. :D

Omega you would be surprised. I may be older then your dad but I'm not like anybody's dad.

I was a network engineer by day and bounced strip bars by night after coming back during VietNam. I

lived in one for a year once. Lived in my custom van one summer and my 55 Chevy too. I played in

a band for 7 years playing bars in a Tri State area surrounding Indiana. That was big fun!!

I've owned a bunch of hot rods. Built custom sounds systems for cars. My biggest was for

a guys van. $35,000 and that was 30 years ago. :D I've caved, camped, skied, hiked, biked,

surfed, hitch-hiked the US several times. I just tried to live life large. Sometimes it was hard.

But always interesting. Seen some beautiful places and meet some great people. Married twice,

divorced now. Now I'm winding down but still doing the best I can to have fun. Take care all. :D

 

**EDIT** Just thought I'd add. Thanks for the likes guys, appreciated. I love anime, always have. And the Knights of Sedonia, oh yeah. I am so waiting for this to come back. They say late summer I hope sooner. IMO this is truly a unique manga. The artwork and storyline are excellent.

I am also waiting for the new release of GITS. Now I hear the artwork is not as good. Still good and by a master but not quite the same. BUT hey it is still a new episode and better then something Hollywood would hack together. Not mecha but Tera is prolly one of the better MMOs in the anime genre. I just get tired of them changing fuzzy bunny all the time and the money grab of course. OK enough of me flapping my lips, you guys carry on. :)

Saint Seiya and Slayers are certainly at my top.

Bubblegum Crisis Tokio 2040, Martian Successor Nadesico, Elfen Lied, Monster, Darker than black, Those who hunt elves, Samurai Champloo, all memorable too.

 

Now I'm seeing Fairy Tail, Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte.

 

Edit: I always mention this manga... I really loved it, and I feel like it does deserve an anime...

Like Hawken? You'll like TTGL. Everyone likes TTGL.

 

Liked Noragami? Check out Yozakura Quartet - Supernatural beings are trying to live peacefully amidst humans. One second you have lighthearted slice of live, the next second all hell breaks loose. (Oh, and you'll want to know this before you start)

 

Currently watching: Scrapped Princess - starts of as like your standard fantasy story, but its actually scifi in disguise.

Edit: Really liked the techy looking magic but was let down by the lack of wizards making things explode.

And thats where Hitsugi no Chaika comes in. Newer Anime with a similar setting by the same author.
