New mechs also might attract old players to play the game again. Also would be an incentive for new players.. but as StubbornPuppet said and I'll add some more to be straight: Bug fixes, erasing the main exploits, rebalancing the incinerator and anti-cheaters meassures implemented would be the priorities, IMHO.

translated by Google:It is true that there will always be cheats, but developers not creates any medication and has a lot of people there with false numbers. The fraud appears, and then more people go to other games. The loser is the public of hawken (both the novice and the more experienced) diminishing and the game itself is a battle of who has the best code. unfortunately. thank youEm portugus: verdade que sempre haver fraudes, mas os desenvolvedores no cria qualquer medicao e tem um monte de gente l com nmeros falsos. A fraude aparece, e em seguida, mais pessoas vo para outros jogos. O perdedor o pblico de Hawken (ambos os novatos e os mais experientes) diminuir eo jogo em si uma batalha de quem tem o melhor cdigo. infelizmente. obrigado

Eegads!
Played last night for the first time in a long time and, on my second (and last) match... it became a cheaters free-for-all. Low ranking accounts running around in SS, Assault and Reaper snap-gibbing everyone with 100% accuracy. And no shame in their game.
I'd read about how much worse it had become, but I didn't expect to run into four cheaters in one match on my second game in months.
To be serious for a moment this is just a joke

Not that devs really care, but im losing interest in the game partially because of this. Anytime i sit down for a session of 7-8 games, at last 3 of them have a hacker in them anymore. I usually joke about them just making for a bigger challenge, but when it becomes the norm it gets kindof demoralizing after a while.
I remember playing CS back when there were a ton of easy aim bots. It really killed the game for a lot of people.
Should we all just use aimbots since devs arent concerned? At least then the playing field is level again. :(

Pubstomping is a whole different strategic discussion, however, and usually just becomes an exploration of the ethics of dumpstering randos.
Why mech game make when you no mech game have you don't want to make?

Above posts^
Back on topic, I do see a lot of hackers lately so I can see the point in making this a priority above other things but would like to see a new mech...Sooner rather than later, just saying.

detecting injections however wont be a way to stop hackers unless you force all players to never use steam overlay / skype / fraps etc etc etc that must inject these components and also it is considered a violation of privacy for the game to retrieve the systems list of loaded libs :(

Many consider it a privacy issue, but it's not unheard of or uncommon for games with a multiplayer aspect to have things like this as part of the anti-cheat procedures.detecting injections however wont be a way to stop hackers unless you force all players to never use steam overlay / skype / fraps etc etc etc that must inject these components and also it is considered a violation of privacy for the game to retrieve the systems list of loaded libs :(
And there are ways to whitelist legit overlays like steam, screen recording programs, etc.

there are anticheat systems available to game devs Rather easily... and the games ARE on steam and still have overlay etc
A lame example but effective one is Robocraft... ( yes a KIDS game because in generally it is a child mentality that cant handle losing that cheat the most)
however these systems cost money so i doubt reloaded would implement it on a ftp game
