hey tiggs, josh, et al,

 

i just have a little question / complaint regarding the private and TPG servers...  

 

why can't you put any in dallas?  particularly the few that have been specifically requested to be dallas servers (WW-The-Green-Room, being the one i'm mostly interested in).  why do they all have to be in chicago?  chicago is not dallas.  being in the greater los angeles metropolitan area yourselves, i would assume that you would realize this,  as for some odd reason, west coast -> chicago connection is as bad as the west coast -> east coast connection.  

 

i just want a central private server where everyone in the contiguous states can meet for competitive fun and games,  we used to have that.  public dallas servers are great.  private "dallas" servers are fuzzy bunny.

What would it take to just have a couple or three centrally located US servers set up so the game will play like it used to. I am willing to contributed considerably and share with everyone in the community.

Before everything moved to chicago, people complained about the quality of the dallas servers. And still, they're pretty bad. Are they as bad as the Chicago ones? Who knows. I find Chicago better, but tonight Odin, LavaMonster and other people were getting up to 140 ping to them.  

 

But back when they were only in dallas, I had spikes of up to 120.  

 

My point is, the location seems to be incidental. They're just garbage.

how the fuzzy bunny do you expect a game to be fuzzy bunnyng successful if it is unfuzzy bunnyng playable. this fuzzy bunny is ridiculous. i wasnt aware it was possible to be this unproductive for a game developer, which i would assume reloaded still is and not a fuzzy bunnyng good will charity for lost cause games. it has litterally been a year and a half since you owned the game and not a single fuzzy bunnyng thing has been shown for it. absolutely disgraceful.

Well, Dallas has the worst ping to hitreg I've ever seen.  Chicago may be worse in terms of general ping, but hitreg is definitely better. Trentik was in phoenix one time which was interesting

My private server would be up if they had EVER ACTUALLY SOLD IT TO ME AND TAKEN THE MC I HAD IN MY ACCOUNT SPECIFICALLY FOR THAT PURPOSE

If you really wanted to stick it to Reloaded, I'm sure you could write to Steam's customer support and say that Reloaded took a payment for you without providing the services they said they would. If you have proof of support tickets then that would add further legitimacy to your case.

 

That might wake Reloaded up when they find that the game has been delisted from Steam for fraud.

While they haven't deducted MC from anyone's account, I'm sure several people may have purchased MC in anticipation of paying for these servers that didn't happen.

large legal actions or financial strife by inspiring people to make a heap of fake claims against hawken....

Inci is right, I bought like $30 of MC in anticipation for the server. I have several support tickets open where I'm asking when I can get it and was told many times it was coming soon and asked where I'd like it to be located and such. Never happened.



The MC is still in my account but at this point I've spent some on cosmetics and am a few hundred short from the server cost.. not that I even want the damn thing at this point, unless I'm getting it for free which would be nice after these empty promises.



"I'll be setting these up towards the end of this week", they said. Back in February.


Enjoy your free money. That ~$25 of MC will rot in my account as I've everything I want that costs MC at this point, and that irritates me more than anything this game has been through or anything either developer has done. I gave them some of my hard earned money and didn't get fuzzy bunny for it.
