yeah that sucks,

 

discovered i lost an assault too.. but i dont really care about a double up assault lol

 

bit that is getting me... is it shouldnt take 6 days fo fix the xp on my ss and sort out my vulgren...( the vulgren i understand sorta)

 

most other people have had their issues fixed....

I don't post much here (or play these days for that matter - life happens ya?) but as a dev who's screwed up his own fair share of releases and whose main skill is firefighting the fallout from old bad code we can't really do anything about, I'd like to give props and my best wishes to Tiggs, Majiik and the rest of the crew who are doing their best to get the data back up.

 

To the naysayers, psh. You'll (probably) never know what kind of warm secretions from the bovine orifice called Business we devs go through on a daily basis. Get back on your collective seats and wait this out.

 

(Sorry, touchy subject. People don't realize how easy it is for something to go wrong in development)

The only thing that seems to have been fixed is my service awards. They have reverted to their previous state and I now don't have to re-earn them again.

Hello. On my account disappeared standard parts: Brommens, spray. The choice of the components were only paid in the garage. At the reaper and assault displaying items that I did not buy. Also my rocketeer no standard weapons.Problem 4 days. On site technical support gave a link to https://hawkentools....abilities~~pobjdid not really help.

No, we realize. The surprising part is how apparently difficult it is to fix some things. Not talking about this specific post/issue; imo it has been one of the better handled occurrences for RLD (aside from support ticket response being as slow as usual)

Support is flooded with tickets and they're working their way through them. Many issues are already fixed, but people forget to update their ticket to let us know.

enter the game and I notice that they have fallen in rank to my wick assault, plus I can not use the other strands that I bought earlier, when you select a message appears: "The test time expired". The other wicks with the exception of assault type are with the rank of before.

That's good to hear. I have been kicking off repeated repair runs over the last few days hoping to catch missing data each time. It's a frustrating problem as the root issue is the old database just not being consistent and losing data. But then it will recover it a few days later.

When attempting to select mechs for Co-op team deathmatch on my account I received "Mech Sync Failure" errors for my loaded Assault and Vanguard mechs (my Vanguard is my primary mech of use, so this is particularly disappointing). I ended up using Sharpshooter instead which was fine. In addition, I noticed that the grenade secondary for my Vanguard seemed to be blanked out in the garage.

 

In addition, my Raider mech appears to be missing (I have the Raider-G2 unlocked so clearly I had my Raider before).

 

Please assist in rectifying these issues.

I'm probably too late for the party, but i'm still going to say a few words about this update:

- At first i couldn't even login, i was allways getting some error about server maintenance going on.

- After a few tries i got as far as "Account syncing", which went on for a while, but also came up with an error.

- I had to restart the game several times until i finally got into the game, but then i was greeted with a "training" tutorial?

I did one part of that tutorial... i think... and logged out for the day. I'm going to do some more testing when i have some more free time.

I can't tell if everything on my account is there and in working order, haven't logged in into the game for a long time...

 

Anyway, just popping in and telling my story.

 

Thank you for updating Hawken and keep up the good work.

Oh, people usually don't have ANY idea how much a pain it is to stitch a database together from log scraps and data you're not even sure is clean. That's the reason why I got branded as unreasonable at work when it comes to database designs (foreign keys everywhere, all the time) and timestamp fields on just about everything.

 

Given what Majiik has said, I'm guessing they're using something non-ACID compliant for everything? May you have timestamps on everything then, you'll need em. Tell me when everything's supposedly up and I'll check back on my borked zerk.

Got my HC and MC back, but still missing half of my garage...

So far my account has been 5% fixed. Got my rank 5 Assault back but the weapons are still bugged to hell, Elite chassis pieces gone and my CLR-RED camo is still gone.

It's been over a week and my support tickets still have not yet been followed up on.  The ticket numbers are 3965 and 3966.  Any help on these would be appreciated.

Well, I've logged in and am taking a look around.

 

1. I am still showing NaN for my "Amount of XP to transfer".

 

2. My Raider now shows a Patrick Chassis which I have never purchased.

 

3. My Raiders Items have become boogered - the only thing it shows I've purchased is a two slot EMP, but I certainly had much more than that.  Things which I had equipped are not equipped and show as still unpurchased.

 

4. Here's a BIG one: The HON chassis I purchased for my Assault is completely missing - it's parts are not even on the list of parts I can select.  GRRR.

 

5. My Vanguard now sports the G2 Raider chassis, arms, legs, etc.(I never purchased these items for it).

 

6. My Vanguards items are screwed up the same way as my Raider is described above, just with different items missing/purchased.

 

7. My Infiltrators items are also screwed up as above, missing things I purchased already/unequipped.

 

8. OOH!  This one you can let me keep.  My G2 Assault:  If I select any other mech, then select the G2A, the G2A takes on the primary of the mech selected before it.

 

9. My Predator is now a carbon copy of my Reaper, but with it's correct weapons.

 

10. Predator is missing a bunch of items I purchased already.

 

11. My Technician is now sporting one of the beta era chassis, legs, arms, etc.  It's the one that has the long, low slung chassis, kind of like the Sharpshooter, but where the face is covered with white waffled plating instead of the 'grill'.

 

12. OOH!  My Brawler is now the Cupcake with the Brawlers normal equipment - it actually looks really freaking cool - so leave that alone too.

 

 

That's all I've got for now... time to go play a few matches and see what else is weird.

 

EDIT:  None of the mechs with oddities are actually playable.  If anything about the mech is abnormal, I get the "Test Drive has ended" message.  So, like half of my mechs are unplayable.

 

EDIT 2:  Yes, I submitted a ticket.

I have a Scout with the old Mobi chassis, a missing Raider, 3 or 4 mechs with missing abilities, and a Grenadier with Rocketeer parts(I didn't buy these for it.) Currently the only mechs I have that work are an Infiltrator and Rocketeer. I really should submit a ticket.

I have submitted a a ticket way back about this thinking I was hacked or something. I'm still missing my money, but I have my mechs thankfully, not sure about the exp  or gear tho.

 

I am curious: is it safe to play on my account and have what I earned added in what I had previously, or should I wait till my account is fixed? I haven't played since I noticed my money gone, because I didn't want make things harder to fix than needed.
