Messing Around... with servers

 

 

I just lost KDR-EU-1 for 20 minutes because I changed it to CO-OP TDM and didn't realise that it moves into another server list! I'm such a server noob. I think I'll leave it to Batpanda and Dr_Freeze in future

I change one to Fight Club Arena the other day, and it locked itself for 5 minutes before changing to a DM map by itself.

 

Nearly had to say "Mr Pastorius sir, i have broken one of your servers"  :D

I own a small Taxi company,  so I am busy at times,  but when I have free time,  I play either Hawken or Minecraft right now.

 

I was part of a team for Battlefield 2 on PC some years ago,  so I love team tactics,  and love playing support role,  I'm a pretty sharp Tech when I need to be!  

 

I game on a Silverstone ML07 case,  MSI Z97l gaming Mobo, i7 4790k, EVGA 980 Classified, Toshiba 512G SSD, 16G Crucial Ballistix low profile DDR3 @1666, 600w Silverstone PSU, 2 Aerocool Shark 15mm fans, Tuniq TX-4 thermal paste, Razer Naga Hex mouse, (Although I'm DYING to try the Aorus Thunder M7 MMO mouse,  I suspect that COULD be the ULTIMATE Hawken mouse,  check it out!)  55" Samsung 4K UHD TV, and Cerwin Vega speakers keep it real! 

 

I got away from PC gaming for compatibility issues... got into PS3.  A friend drug me back into PC gaming, primarily with Steam, Gog, and SSD drives... and Hawken really sealed the deal.   I LOVE the Patlabor series,  suggest you all enjoy it  and have not had this much fun in YEARS... I love the depth of Hawken,  and the potential for real strategy and team building. 

 

I'm currently working to build my Garage,  and have mechs prepped and ready to go,  maxing them out,  getting the right loadout.  I'm a bit anal about some things,  but believe I can make a good teammate!

Hi guys, yes thanks Roz, (KDR) Pandabaron is our Staff Officer and as such all new recruits should now be getting in-touch with him as a first port of call. I will update the OP so that is clear but this was announced at the briefing on Sunday.

At the moment we can get 24 in a DM server but Josh is looking into upping that to 35+ on a temporary basis for me.  

 

Last Eco AA is actually not a bad idea if we can get everyone on it. Potentially there are 34 of us (+ two new recruits inbound). I was thinking somewhere open where the background textures will allow the mechs to stand out like Bazaar for instance. We should stream us doing it too as it might be fun and we could take requests.

 

Last Eco would be good though as the mechs stand out from all the greenery. What is worrying me is how I keep you lot still and from shooting each other while we try to organise it!   <<< see appropriate smiley
