Edit: Possibly solved_ Also, why can't I edit the topic title_ I'm sure I could do that in the past. Is that intended behaviour, or are my permissions wonky (like the people who can't reply to posts now)_

This just started happening, so I don't really have a full understanding of the situation. However, clicking on some threads (a lot of the recent threads in General Discussion, for example) does this:

Taking http://community.pla...2069-the-scout/ as an example,

The requested URL /topic/12069-the-scout/ was not found on this server.

Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at community.playhawken.com Port 80

However, some threads still work. It seems intermittent, as well.

It even happens to forums. I can access General Discussion without problem by going to the forum main page and clicking it in the forum list. However, trying to click through from the My Content section (by clicking on the forum name in a row instead of the thread title or any of the pages) gives this:

Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at community.playhawken.com Port 80

Maintenance_ Or was this unplanned_

Edit: Now that I think about it, over the last hour or so I was getting database errors, and I figured that the server might just be under a bit of high traffic. I wonder if that isn't directly correlated with this problem.

Double edit: In My Content, the preview does work on threads that I can't click through to access directly.

I had this for a very very brief moment. I was just assuming a server restart for the forums, or someone mistakenly unplugged the wrong cord and popped it back in =p

It's happening intermittently for me. If the webserver is actually multiple servers (e.g. a squid proxy), one of them is out of sync with the rest. Otherwise, the database's having problems.

I'm getting threads in My Content that I've read since this started (they managed to work) that show as unread despite no new posts actually being made, so that's what leads me to believe that there's a sync problem either with the load-balancing or database transactions, or possibly neither depending on how the backend is set up.
