I also chose Berserker. I'm a hit, kill, and run kind of player. C-Class mechs are my favorite targets because I can generally dance around them long enough to finish them off without dying. Whenever I try to play any other mech I get slaughtered.

I love me some rockets, and the rocketeer- that baby has alllll the rockets. Arcing hellfires in a 360, the megaslap of the heatcannon-hellfire combo that obliterates things, and the fast turret mode make that thing a joy.
Also the bruiser, cause, yanno, hellfires.

The Rocketeer mating ritual basically boils down to whoever has the sexiest curves.

If I don't get the drop on other A class mechs I die. What not to like about Infiltraitor. Grenades around corners. IOC pucks that are silent and stick well. Haven't mastered the heat cannon but getting better.

Grenadier. Great burst, great DPS. Has a comfortable, roomy cocpit to stuff my big a$$ into. And the screaming of REV-GL... Goes nice with the screaming of dying enemies, you know_
BTW, I have a collection of loose arms and legs, if you're missing one, feel free to dig the pile...

I love my Tech. While she's not the toughest girl on the block, she is determined & will do everything within her power to make sure you young 'uns stay alive.

A few hours ago i would have said Reaper. The first mech i bought and maxed. But actually i dont really play it anymore.
A few days ago i bought the Grenadier. Played for two days now and this night i was mostly very alone on the c-class front. Last game in uptown that big beast gave me the first quadrakill will swatting almost the whole team of a-class flies. It wasn't just a lucky shot, he decided to go for it, stomped down the big curved slope and ripped them to pieces. Had to shoot the last scout or zerker in the back. I could bite my ass, that i dont have a recording setup! I was so proud of him.
Maybe i can motivate him to stand up against the a-class domination and do it again, like mickey did with rocky. The patch is around the corner, the big boys are in no shape, the young legs are taking the top spots, but maybe, just maybe those big mechs get their chance to shine.

I love my Sharpshooter. I've always been a proponent of direct fire and I've managed to keep my K/D ratio above 5.00 on a match with a decent team. The Reaper's nice, but too fragile for my tastes. I can sometimes when 2:1 odds close quarters with my SS, and for a medium it's got a really small profile. Dear Sharpshooter, I love you.

I'm between my sharpshooter and berserker. I like playing snipers in my games. Hawken is no exception. He has a nice alpha strike, after which all my enemies run to hide. And I like my berserker becouse he is fast, can clean up anything that my team forgot. Not to mention some good air combat.

I'm new, but I'm loving the rocketeer. I've jacked up Air dynamics/etc, and it just feels like I'm a huge, fat, assault helicopter that floats around dropping missiles on everyone.

I don't really have a favorite. I own them all.
For me it really depends on what match type I'm playing, who I'm playing with and what the team needs at that moment.

If any of you MASSIVE NERDS had any ACTUAL SKILL you'd all know that the ASSAULT MECH is the best one out there.
In all seriousness though, despite all of the overwhelming criticism it gets, I still value the versatility of the assault class. It's seen me through pretty much every scenario the game has to offer and I'm still happy to clamber into it, even to this day.

I started two days ago, I've only got 5 mechs, but the Berserker is my favorite. I like the playstyle and my role in the team.
