Yes, Rift support is available in the patch. We consider our Rift support to be at an Alpha state.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude. But, yes, I'd call that false hype if it wasn't actually going to be in this update. I've been more excited about playing Hawken in the Rift than anything else I can see in the foreseeable future, and I don't think I'm alone. This is fabulous news and September 5th can't come soon enough. Thank you!!

So how many points can be spent in one tuning system_ And can turreted C do a 180* spin_

I'm a little confused about the party system though. Can my clan now arrange a match with an apposing team of our choice or does the apposing team always have to be made up of other random players/parties choosing quick match_

As you could see in videos already, 10 in any primary category, 7 (IIRC) in any secondary tuning category.
Enjoy doing your math.

Weapon balance notes_  No changes from current values_  Did the automatic bugs from HAB1 get handled_  Why are suspensions still only available to certain mechs/still in the game_  Why is the shield values from mk1-3 the same and the insane duration_

Clarification would be nice.  Thanks for the notes, but some points need to be clarified and or completely addressed.

I would be upset about the overflow xp costing MC to change into global xp, seeing as how it was only ever advertised that players could do it, not that it would ever be a real-money-pay-only function, but if the rates aren't exuberant, I really can't complain with the sheer added amount of free customization added, including free visuals, which is pretty rare in F2P.  Bravo.
Not sure I like the berserker being all aerial, but the new system is flexible enough to allow for a lot of additional gameplay with that, and even to allow more flexibility with the use of the tuning, I think I could -definitely- get used to my favorite mech having a slightly different specialty.  Not too crazy about having to pay even in-game HC for leveling one's mech rank, as that may make things even more grindy, but once again, if the rate isn't exuberant, can't complain.  Besides, you guys have to make money somehow, and the optional MC payment does help there.
Overall, I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm also quite pleased that it's coming out on the 5th!  Really happy to hear there is finally a party system-- another friend of mine has decided it's worth playing again with that in mind.

This all looks amazing but there are two things I want to point out.

Quote

    • Getting an assist reduces all item and ability cooldowns by 3 seconds.

Quote

  • Basic Reconstructor
    • Basic(MK-I)
    • Mech regenerates 7 armor per second out of combat.
  • Advanced Reconstructor
    • Advanced(MK-III)
    • Mech regenerates 25 armor per second out of combat.
These internals sound like major hax. The reconstructor means quick mechs are basically immortal. And the replenisher_ I hope to God there's a limit to the time reduction because I'm having horrible visions of players on long kill-streaks shooting off detonators like they're TOWs while cloaked more or less permanently.

This is gonna add a whole new realm of experience to an already awesome game!!  But I wanted to let you know that in the notes under ITEMS-SHIELDS the damage absorption is 300 across all 3 versions.  That's the only error I came across.  Anyway thanks for an great game Adhesive!!

To be fair, it only states ooc and not for how long. It's 10 seconds, iirc.
