TDM is a valid enough game mode as is the player bracket, playing defensively once acquiring a lead is a common tactic used in many games. Maybe a mode requiring  the whole team to be eliminated before the start of another round would work in Hawken for competitive play, I'm not sure. It would allow for the excitement of 2v1 clutch play etc rather than what is effectively one continuous round with respawns.

Kudos for actively taking the time and effort to set something like this up.

Sounds good, but the whole banning maps things seems kind of arbitrary.  I could kind of understand it in MA or seige, but its not like there's that much of a strategic advantage of one side of a map over another for TDM.  Seems like it would slow down the match creation process trying to wait for the right server to show up, unless you have something special tool from ADH you're working with.

Because EMP MK3s are ridiculous. If you want to know why, just search the forums. There's plenty of conversations as to why.

And because Countermeasures provide huge benefits while taking absolutely zero skill to use.
In other words, countermeasures are for scrubs.

3v3 Allows for far more teams while still keeping the team aspect very relevant. I don't think I'll ever run a 6v6 tournament, it just makes games too zergy. If there are every 6 players in one area someone can die instantly from 6 well placed secondaries.(6*150 = 900 damage, thats any A or B mech deleted)

Given what we experienced during the Post Apocalyptic tourny, I'm guessing comp team sizes should never exceed 5 players per team.
Not only because of how spammy and zergy it gets, but also due to accessibility. It's much easier to find and organize for smaller teams.

Wouldn't there be a lot more teams now though since you only need 3 players_ Well, not sure about the player size now but there was quite a number of teams in Post Apoc.

There can be, but you can limit that by a cutoff date or just having first-come-first-serve entry slots.
Part of the Post Apoc tourny was poor scheduling. We could have easily accommodated all the teams if we had been more together or spread out the fights over more than one day.

I'm guessing your referring to the times I use for the CHR(6pm pst/9pm est), as of right now I haven't settled on a time. Unfortunately it probably wont be at a any decent time for your time zone.
