The rule is in place to stop teams from changing out mechs when they've achieved a lead and want a more favorable defensive composition.
But isn't that the point of having a strategy_ But I do understand at the same time.
Just seems limiting to some extent.. an avg team w/ a great strat can beat a great team w/ and avg strat. And the more you limit things the more it just turns into deathmatch and less about teamwork and strategies. Which is just boring to me.. but that is a personal preference obviously =p
Still 3v3 TDM is better than 6v6 TDM (even if it limits strats). Save MA/Siege for the bigger team games, where things should get spread out more. Really looking forward to watching the tourny.

Remember, 6v6 isn't just about the weapons, but how crowded the map gets.
Just because the weapons have reduced AOEs, doesn't mean that the interactions of 12 mechs on a map is all that great.
Well considering all maps made were made for 6v6 in mind.. I would have to say all maps are viable. Some obviously more so than others. This is also TDM and not MA, you have FAR greater fighting space in retrospect for a TDM mode than the MA mode. But that is the point to each mode as well.
Again, you cannot prove something is broken unless you show it is broken. Saying a map will fail because of "X" means nothing if you cannot show the devs it is failing. And tournies are a great way to point out parts of the game that are and are not working. But you need to show it, not exclude it.
(just like the countless emps you pushed onto the devs ages ago =p )
