Armor Fusor now grants user 100% of their health back every 2 seconds for 100 seconds upon damaging an opponent. If player dies with this internal equipped, their account is deleted and their IP address is forever banned from Hawken's services.

You say this like it's the fault of those who were trying to put this together... Sign up was never completed and thus brackets weren't done because the party system was changed so an event like this can't be supported currently. However there is hope that this will resume with adjusted dates and times once the party system is back in operation.

The 2 statements in my post are unrelated.

The reason i am not participating is that i have no desire of obtaining the graphic novel any more.

Furthermore an event like this has happened in the past, with a lot less resources might i add.

ZamboniChaos recently emailed me and we're going to be setting a date up here very soon. As far as poorly organized I would disagree. I actually do have a list of participants sitting in a Challonge bracket but I'm going to re randomize it once the teams are final. As far as not giving a date, I said that we would be posting one after the november patch which turned into a december patch. I didn't really think an update needed to be made, there was no new information to share.

I don't mind if the brackets aren't finalized but the fact that 2 months later and we still don;t know the intended functionality of the tournament (best outa 3, insta death, best of 5,) ( prefered server location) etc... lead me to say this tournament is poorly organised.

Don't mean to offend anyone, but my standards are higher.

Currently no one knows how many players are interested in the competitive hawken scene, if I knew how many teams would show up I could easily give you a bracket type but due to time constraints I have held off on committing to one. As far as server region it will be in the US, east or west is still something I'm working on.

It's happening.  We're still working on setting up a time and date.  There's also speculation as to whether or not this should occur until after the big February update.
