[Hijinks_The_Turtle]

Hello peoples!  Hijinks The Turtle is at it again!  This is a character expression sheet of Ayumu Makoto, the man who wears the mask.  The Reaper above him is Silent Light which is his axe.  It's super heavily modified, as it's actually heavier than it's lighter brother.  

In fact, the mech is so different (internally and weapons-wise), that it's been nicknamed as an "Executor" type instead of "Vertical Assassin" which is the nickname of a normal Reaper.  The cable/harpoon things (there is actually two, one's on the other side) help the axe scale high places silently and it can be used 'Attack On Titan' style. :3  Yes, that is a rail gun, and yes in the normal mode, it can rapid fire.  Ayumu thought it needed 'moar dakka'.  I swear to god that if this thing got in game, it'd be OP.

Also, I gave Ayumu more of a 'Hei look' to him (from Darker Than Black the anime).  It just fits him so well!

LOL  I was going for sort of a throw back to old anime shows like Cowboy Bebop.  The opening for it was just amazing, I could never skip it.  I'll mute down the blue next time.

Heya peoples!  The next chapter is a special one.    As of such, you've already seen Aymu who will be debuting in the next chapter.  I'm going to do something different!  *drumroll*

I'm going to show you TWO characters!!!!! YAY!  Not new ones, but their younger versions!

First off is Malik Rivera the guy who wears a beanie hat in the future and has more scars.  This is his younger self:
He has very beaten up/used clothing.  He is showcasing the typical wear for a regular patron who lives in the city of Eugen (aka the Prosk map).  I tried to go for a futuristic but still modern-esque feel since the concept art of cities with people in Illal had clothing very similar to today.  

The shotgun he uses is made to look very scrapped together like everything else in Hawken.  It's also air-compressed like a nailgun, so maybe not an actual shotgun.  Obviously, it can use anything as ammo from nails to even shards of glass.

The next is Kaori Kurosawa from her IPDF days. I made her look very SWAT team-ish as Eugen is not a very nice place so I thought about 3rd world countries where police were usually more heavily armed than the cops in places like the US.  Nothing is supposed to be very showy about the armor.  She also has longer hair. I thought it made her look more purdy. XD

Sup peeps!  I was thinking about doing this for awhile but now I will!  The first image is the first drawing of Mr. Scuffles.  I wanted to make him more nice so I changed his design for more cuteness!


For the next one, this is the picture that started it all.  It was the one that helped me solidify the HWKN characters and story.  The man sleeping by the boxes was Jin (he didn't have a name before).  The young woman by him actually wasn't supposed to be Laila, but I put her in there so people would have a more concrete character they would recognize.



The reason why this one stays unfinished is because the design for Black Rose wasn't up to my standards.  It looked kind of awkward and a few other character changes made HWKN different from what the pic above shows.

A few fun facts about the original concept:

• Jin was supposed to be much older and a ladies man.
  
• Shae was originally supposed to be dead.  In the original concept, Shae was a close friend of Jin, whose death kept him motivated to fight against Sentium.  Of course, this all changed.
  
• Laila was supposed to be a minor guest character until I had put more thought into it.

Thanks for being patient, the release of HWKN: Memories Part 2 is coming up pretty soon!  Just gotta get the fixes from my lovely editors!

Sorry for not posting a picture for awhile guys! (Yes, I'm still alive.)  Hopefully one will come out on what I'm working on next week sometime. ;D  Been super busy these days, hence why I've been on and off the forums a lot. :|
