Hi Guys,

Been noticing over the last week or two the forums getting quite laggy at times. Some days seem particularly bad at stages, today for quite a while a single page could take a few minutes to load.

It definitely seems to be the Hawken forums as well, any time I experience the lag I am still able to browse other websites without any lag while waiting for the forum to load and I have experienced this on both my work and home PCs.

Has anyone else noticed this at all_ I am thinking the servers are not handling the load of all the extra viewers the closed beta events would be bringing to the forums.

Same here,

forums are running very very slow. Takes ages even to login or just browsing pages or checking PMs... Hope they fix this up soon.

God yes. They used to be zippy, but the last 2-3 days... it takes ages. Attachments almost never load, and it takes almost a minute to even edit a post.

The traffic has probably increased a heckuva lot in beta 2 considering thousands of new keys have been used in the last few days.  Probably the most obvious explanation.  The site I got my key from has given out 5,000+ keys in the last week or so.  Many more have gone out elsewhere.
