Do you have other suggestions to make it more fun but less OP_

- Radar Scrambler breaks lock and/or nullifies locking abilities
- Rocket Half-life of 1/4 the map (rocket does less damage past half-life)
- BOLD red circle on HUD showing "INCOMING MISSILE!" warning.

My only issue with the Seeker is that it is impossible to outrun/hide from and does a ridiculous amount of damage in the process.

I always thought the Hellfire missiles were OP since CB2. The Seeker adds another annoying fire and forget projectile. I also thinks its positively stupid to have a mech with BOTH missile weapons. Even the mech with both grenade launchers (and the smaller grenades are more damage, wtf_) is tearing up smaller mech with no regard.

If nothing else it will reduce the ammount of time "WARNING INCOMING" will take over my screen.

Swap the seeker missile for seeker bullets. Faster fire, smaller correction, but same general damage. Would require better aim as they would fly faster and correct less.

just had a match where we all went rocketeer and the enemy team couldn't do anything about it
Not a particularly good example (because coordinated rockets in a pub), but it WAS pretty funny

Honestly if the other team is entirely made up of Free Trial Rocketeers and you're just playing srsbsns then you're ruining your own fun :P

I like it because it makes sense with the class it is on. It's already easy to counter you just have to get close to the rocketeer and presto he can't hit you

Heres an idea, Make it have a minimum range. At long range it would do full damage, but when you're up in their face it would do much less, so they could be countered by running up to them instead of running into a blender.

would anyone be opposed to simply making the Seeker not a "seeker_"

I.E. fast-firing, low-DPS dumb-fire rockets [individually much smaller than TOWs]

TOWs aren't that hard to aim once you have em down, and it would introduce more skill to the Rocketeer.

Making it entirely ranged based presents a few problems with the current maps. As well, it doesnt allow skill to overcome limitations. Forcing them to track to use the missiles, and actually balancing the heat/damage/rof would be a much better change

Doing this would force a Rocketeer to actually pay attention to what they're doing. You would have to make a considered judgement on whether it's safe to fire and also give a reason to choose the alternate primary.

Also, remove the 'hold-button-to-spam-death' function -_-

(I say this as someone who has spent the last hour playing as the Rocketeer)

The question then goes back to how "noob" you want to make the "noob weapons." Apparently these weapons are intended for extremely easy use that a first time gamer can pick up without trouble. Personally, I don't think that's the way to go with game design, but that's up to the devs.

The problem (and I'm guessing you already know this, I'm just vocalizing) is that "noob" weapons are easily abusable by good players.
What's easy for a new player to get the hang of, is just as easy for a comp player to master.

the primary weapon seems a bit strong.  but the previous one was very very weak.

keep the rocket, but make it's damage 20% weaker.

it is easy to use, but you do get a warning when it's coming.  it's pretty easy to dodge.   it's not much of a problem to me personally.
