There are many secrets that the general public doesn't know, this is just one of them.

 

Some others do have it, like all of the spam warriors have it for example, and some other people here and there.  I guess the old Devs never got to the point where they wanted to release it to everyone for whatever reason.  They are just one way reports though, not sure what all they snapshot of at the time they are created if any at all.

Probably cause ADH died before they could finish the reporting system and roll it out to everyone (it uses a whitelist atm). It was only really in use for a couple months I think before The Great Silence. What they had was in the pretty early stages, but we are trying to make it functional again.

I'm a student at the University of Utah studying computer science with an emphasis in entertainment arts & engineering.     I game a fair bit, but my grades are straight A's atm so I'm not neglecting my studies.  I plan to finish up undergrad, get into the U's EAE grad school (both our undergrad and grad EAE programs are highly rated), and start development on a personal project.   5 or 6 years down the road, I want to start developing competitive multiplayer games.  I think I'd be one of the rare devs that's actually top-tier at the game they're working on.  That's the goal, at least.  

 

I've been playing Hawken since 2012 and have MMR-whored for the majority of my time spent playing.  I was the first player to break 2800 MMR and held the top spot until I stopped playing in mid-2014.  I've been active for the past couple of months to finish up the third TPG season.  Starting about a month ago, I stopped playing pubs on my main account.  When you have the highest MMR in the lobby, the matchmaker puts all the shitty players on your team.  Regardless of how good you are, you can't carry 5 shitters against 5 players that are cooperating and working together.  It just doesn't happen, and usually results in a loss of MMR for you, despite you performing equivalently to players on the stronger team.  I only play my main account in competitive matches.  

 

Apart from IareDave, there aren't any other players that can match my Assault gameplay.  Pair that with being dedicated Assault for the best team in the competitive scene, and you have a pretty solid formula for achieving the highest rating in the game.  We win our matches, and I'm almost always in the top 3.  

 

After this season, I'm moving to more challenging games.  The main reason for this is that Hawken's skill ceiling is pitifully low in comparison to Unreal Tournament and similar twitch-shooters.  It's just not fun/challenging anymore, even at top-tier play.  Until then, I may as well farm as much MMR as possible, lmao.

You're a clueless moron.  I've faced better players in other games.  Hell, I regularly play against better players in games with much higher skill ceilings than Hawken.

 

But when it comes to Hawken, there are very few that even come close to matching my level of play.  It's just that simple, and if you spend any time in the NA competitive scene, you'll quickly come to that conclusion (unless you're deluding yourself).  The MMR thing is just a game for me.  It's a stupid number that I've broken.  It's not even an accomplishment - I simply farmed it better than everyone else.  

 

All of that aside, you're an even bigger fuzzy bunnyng moron if you think that any reasonable conclusion can be reached between a west coast USA player vs. a European player.  Ever heard of ping?  I get 200ms to Europe servers, lmfao.  

 

The best we can do is look at individual performances from each playerbase.  So far, I have yet to see any European players that come anywhere close to my performance, apart from Rasti, iDim, and a couple others.  At that, it's not like we can test that to any reasonable degree, so what's the use in mouthing off?  You're just spouting off because you're all pissy about an American player breaking 3k MMR.  get over it.

This is the closest thing to a rational post that you've made all night.  As I said before: there's practically no point.  One side will always have a ping disadvantage.  I'd like to duke it out with their best, sure, but doing so with similar ping just isn't feasible.

We do have some really skilled players in Eu but i still don't think anyone of them could compete with the top 5 of this game

The game can have a pretty high skill ceiling, but the fact is that the most powerful weapons and tactics are also really easy to use: hitscan, TOW, orbs.

Compare them to weapons like EOC and Corsair-KLA which have a high risk but just barely (if any) reward compared to the easier weapons.
