So some members in HEAVEN IS FOR REAL are getting Hawken coins for technically being the worst team in the EU Priority Target II tournament because we only played one match and lost it and didn't care enough to show up to any of the other ones. OmniStone, me, and IareDave are giving away our coins, and I decided to hold an appropriately stupid tournament to determine who gets our consolation prizes. This is an interest check reservation thread to see who's going to play; the date will will be decided on probably the week after I see who signs up. I reserve the right to edit the rules as I see fit up until the tournament starts if I think of new things to add.

 

 

RULES:
1. Sabot only.
2. You have to 360 noscope every shot.
3. No internals or items are allowed except for Air Compressor and Air 180.
4. No repairing.
5. All matches will be played on Last Eco Winter.

6. I'll kick anyone who breaks the rules.
7. Have fun, and makes sure not to take it seriously.

MASSIVE UPDATE:

 

Another coin and possibly Hawken merch, courtesy of Luna; and the main surprise, 4-6 comped tickets to the San Diego Zoo, worth $50 each (courtesy of WmMoneyFrmMissori--thank you) and whatever else people give until the tournament starts are now prizes. I'm going to try to donate 500K spare HC I have between all my accounts. The distribution format is now a free raffle for everyone who enters--now there are no restrictions on eligibility and you can exchange your gifts in any way you please and I'll mail them out. My YouTube videos are being monetized now and I'm going to donate a good portion of what I make from that to buying other items people suggest in this thread to the pool. I'm getting in touch with Badtings to see if he can do any graphic design work for advertisements to pass out, and I can compensate him for his work through pooled money. If other people want to contribute using their skillsets, I can pay them for that with what I collect as well.

 

If Hawken content creators want to monetize their streams or YouTube accounts so they can be added to the advertisements (assuming I review them and determine they're high-quality and appropriate for all ages) then that would be nice. I'll talk about this to all my friends who might me interested and it'd be great if everyone here could too.

 

I messaged Tiggs to see what she can do regarding donating almost all my spare HC which is around 650K between the 500K from all my accounts and the 150K Shoutaxeror is donating, and it'd be nice if I got a prominent in-game tile too. Anyone can monetize their videos or streams and get them on the ads as long as the contributors agree to donate a predetermined percentage of what they make to this, the content is appropriate for all ages, and the videos are quality; I'll review applicants for the ads from community members to decide these things.

 

If anyone wants to be generous and help me purchase things for this along with future events, tournaments, etc., donate here--this is probably easier than everyone PMing me unless you have a physical prize on hand already. I can do this as a full-time thing until August or maybe longer if I get enough money.

I'm in. MMR was above 1400 for a bit. Couple matches later it was back down into the 1300's, so I don't have anything to worry about ;p Hopefully it'll be 8:30 pm CST or later otherwise I probably won't make it. Unless it's on a Tuesday or Saturday, no meetings those nights.
