I think most people know that the Incinerator is in need of some changes. I'm not one for suggestions, but there are people in this community who are, and I'd love some ideas the devs might look at and implement.

PPA needs nerf, infinite firing is a broken mechanic, i had an idea of an actual aoe flamethrower, possibly using fuel in the secondary mode and in that mode have the fire stick to surfaces for a bit

Replace the PPA with a flamethrower that does the same damage but has less range, then remove the heat transfer from both SAARE impact and the AOE passive.

a flamethrower with the same damage would be insane because a flamethrower requires very little aiming

Just give it a lot less range.
Then HAWKEN can have pyro to go with it's medic tech.

Paired with the SAARE's heat removal, its might be a bit op, i was thinking it would replace the saare, and making the incinerator another aoe like grenadier

I think you're imagining a flamethrower that fires in a cone. This would be impossible to see through and super annoying for everyone on both teams.
I'm imagining a flamethower that functions as though it is a jet of burning liquid (y'know, like an actual flamethrower). Think like a short range water cannon except it shoots napalm. It would also presumably have some travel time.

Then we make all techicians that get within repairing range of the incin melt.
Played a siege game yesterday, my entire team was just getting raped by two incinerators with two technicians, Helixes permanently up their butts.
We couldn't leave our base. :l

of course a cone would be atrocious but still consider its like firing a limited range laser beam, with possibly having damage over time to give it some special effect, make the damage over time very low and only last like 3-5 seconds, if you have ever played COD:WAW and used the flamethrower, tha's what I'm thinking of sorts with less screen blur and ease of use. Find a way to make it challenging and strategic. Keep the support role

one solution , remove the incinerator from game , so one will complain about this mech
"guys if it doesnt work, remove it" so lets also remove berserker, Orbs, Good players, the tech, scout, lag, bunker, hellfires, etc. people will complain about everything so this is now how to fix things. We are suggesting ideas so we can keep content, not take away from the game.

How about I remove you from the game...
Just remove or nerf the heat siphon ability, it hinders more than it helps, also will stop the bitching about the tech-Inci combo.
Change the SAARE secondary fire to close range flamethrower to melt any fool that comes close enough, also it overheats their weapons :3c
And while you are it, change the B3-ARs sounds to something like this:
