Does it transform? Is it an autobot or a decepticon. It looks like the latter.

good god, that thing is fugly.
I had two R.A.T. mice in the past and send them back because they were buggy, laggy and not really that "ergonomic" expensive junk.

It looks like something you buy to tell your friends you`re a true gamer when you only play League Of Legends and think Overwatch is a TF2 clone.

I looked it up and reviews of rat mice were hit and miss. This mouse costs as much as 18 of my sharkk mice or 22 of them at the price Inci found them.
Come on Crafty, you have been officially called out on your lies. Your online reputation is at stake here, this is just like an old school street race running for pink slips. Its run what you brung and hope its enough. Put up or shut the fuzzy bunny up.

When I was last in Germany I went to a tech store, and in their gaming section they had a ton of mice just like this - like an abnormal amount more compared to in Britain - and they were all really really lightweight too.
I can't really feel at home with lightweight mice. They've gotta feel there, y'know?

Sharkk was awesome, but I think mine is starting to fail. That or the servers don't register my clicks. Actually now that I type this out loud, its probably the servers...

I know a guy that has a R.A.T. and one of the big points of it is that almost every part of it is adjustable to fit your specific hand size for comfort. As for performance, I can't tell the difference between these expensive gaming mice and my cheap budget mouse. All works the same for me.
Also, Overwatch is NOT a TF2 clone.

200 USD? I'll pass.
EDIT: That's not even the stupidest mouse they make.

I saw those things when looking for a new mouse recently. Wanted to find something that was really different and cool looking, but all that kind of stuff was either too expensive or seemed too uncertain in quality. After many hours on Amazon, I ended up going with a Logitech M510 for $15 at the local Walmart.

If the colours weren't so garish, and if their sensors weren't inferior to Logitech's PMW3366, and if rat's build quality were more reputable, and if the price were 50 bucks lower, I'd consider it.

Man that thing is butt ugly. And made for Paris Hilton evidently. I just bought a new mouse and love it. Works great. No accidental right finger activating the 2nd mouse button. (arrrggghhh) It's optical not laser which I prefer in FPS. The polling rate is adjustable 125/250/500/1000. The DPI is extremely adjustable and had 4 settings to use. YOU determine just exactly what DPI those 4 settings are. From 250 to 4000 in 125 increments. And each of the 4 setting has its own color that the mouse wheel and a company logo "breathe" on the mouse. (so you know exactly what the DPI is by the color) The 4 settings are done on the fly via 2 keys on the mouse. Macro recording for a huge number of mouse presses to record and use. And the standard other settings of course. It has a 5 ft braided cord which I really like and software for the tray of course. And it feels really comfortabl(e/y) (numb) for my style of grip. I use palm grip. And it was only $24.95 at FRY's. It's a TekNmotion Nibiru NM40. I'm happy. check it out if ya want. *NOTE Thought I'd add, you don't HAVE to add any software if you don't want to. You can just plug it in and it will work.

My girlfriend owns the RAT 7. I agree it looks ugly but the ability to adjust the width, length, and weight is useful. Still wouldn't recommend it though.
I'm probably going to get this mouse:
Don't particularly care for the display, but I'm really interested in the feedback and swappable/replaceable sensors. Currently own a Sensei but it's starting to die on me so I'm looking at this as a long-term replacement.

Got me a bit used zowie za13 recently.. I'd rather would have taken 11 wich is larger and im not a small hand person but for the half price im fine with the smaller one and i've gotten used to it pretty fast. Sensor is very VERY good on this one. Has no funky fuzzy bunny on it and no need to install any additional software! You just plug it in. There's a button on the bottom for switching dpi in 4 positions. You can also change polling rate somehow but it's on highest by default so it's fine as is. If it's durability holds up it's a perfect gaming mouse for fps at least.

I have a Zowie FK1. 5 buttons, sturdy, plug and play, very precise, it's all you need. Great brand!

This is the one I have atm. I've had it for 1&1/2 years, and that's a long period for me, since I usually smash those light plastic mouses flat when I fuzzy bunny up ingame. But this one is different. It's made of metal :3
So far I have changed 2 desks instead though...
It weighs about 300-400 grams, and has really good response imo.

i currently own a R.A.T te
have had it for 2 years+
still works
non slip pads are falling off
lots of crevices to catch dead skin
adjustable size but if you adjust it past a certain point the mouse starts to tip over easily so it doesnt even matter
super light weight
customizable macro buttons
braided wire is stiff and ugly with bends that wont smoothen
fifty bucks
its meh
buy something else
just meh
that 200dollar mouse looks like the same thing

i would assume its weight is a plus though when the pad isnt so slick as when new, lightweight tends to jerk once it starts sliding but if it had weight it would work as a stabalizer on a compound bow to smooth out the action

MS intellimouse is still the best mouse I've had overall. I also had the huge MS trackball the ergonomist at work bought me back in the engineering days. That and lots of stretching helped with RSI pain. The best trackball I've ever used, $99 in 2003, had to give it back when I quit. Now worth at least $200 for one in good condition.
the first trackball was Canadian (RCN) c. 1951
