Well, that ain't how black holes work according to the existing models. It's like a 5-year-old's idea of a black hole visualized.

No spaghettification. Much disappoint.  Extra points lost for lack of space travelers screaming in horror with resulting doppler shift in sound as well as visual wavelengths.  No picture of confident Zapp Brannigan-wannabe piloting, either.

Sigh.

Is this related to HAWKEN in any Way?

When Brawler tries to accelerate above 25 m/s, the space and matter around it warp, and begin to consume matter around, making a hole through time and universe. It is mean, here a small (if we can say "small" with "Brawler") sad Brawler inside every black hole, which is just wanted to be a little faster. Everyone know it.
So... yes, it is related with hawken directly.

Since sound requires a molecular medium to travel on and the molecular particles are so low and spread so thin out in space, you wouldn't be able to hear any sound.

Not quite.

http://www-pw.physic...ag/sounds2.html

We can hear the sounds OF space by using scientific instruments on spacecraft as our 'ears.' Scientific instruments detect and record radio waves, then transmit the recorded information to Earth. Once the transmitted information has been received at Earth, the data are processed for use in scientific studies. This processing also allows data to be converted or translated into sounds.

Radio waves are a form of electromagnetic radiation (a.k.a light), not sound.   :pinch:

Well, point conceded. Although the screaming and spaceship structure buckling may have started long before getting anywhere close to the distance where tidal forces or spaghettification become something to worry about. And the air probably leaked out of the ship as it got broken and stretched. I left out the incredible amount of radiation thrown off by these things, too.

Darn it.
