Kudos to Freeze and Karl for designing the logos and icons, I saw some of the different design stages and it has been way more work than it looks like, but it turned out really really well, so huge thanks to you guys, we appreciate your effort.

Furthermore we didn't finish our discussion about practice schedule. My point is that KDR server should me used more and we should practice more.

Maybe keep sunday practice as "fixed" schedule, and log in KDR server to play on a more regular basis.

If we can play decent 3vs3 games why pubing ?

Visited the Kobalt MA server today and played some of HAWKEN with many of you guys. vGGs ;)

Nice practice yesterday. Is anyone up for a debrief ? The siege at Origin was aweful, we didn't found a way to capture the AA with Freeze sniping and Silent crushing pple inside the AA. Anyone got an idea for how could we have proceeded ? Maybe some push/pull bait with rozy sniping and erzunter trapping. But I really felt clueless.

 

I didn't streamed / recorded yesterday, Freeze what do you think about streaming KDR opened practice (paying attention to keep passwords secret) ?

 

It was fun to play with my main, I felt like borrowing sbdy else account, I had completely forgotten what were the internal/iems builds

Actually somehow software got installed on my PC that recorded over 2h of our training yesterday. I could upload it if you want, give you our point of view.

 

Also this training was a test more than anything else. More an organised pub than genuine training. Anyway, next training will be a regular KDR one again.

yesterday actually everyone was playing just for fun and get to know each other , if everyone play serious as tourney , oh boy imagine AutoMom is coming for AutoDad

@MomOw: That night we had extra good communication. It was, like Freeze said, always very clear. There was a "Front Line", a left and a right flank. Things like: "Listen to Jump-Pads. Check them every now and then." were really helpful. We were denying you guys from entering several areas, while Loud was assasinating everyone in the hallways who tried to flank or flee. For the duration of two ships, Freeze was focusing on keeping Rozer busy so he couldn't snipe  the AA. Erz was quite successful sneaking up on us a couple of times. But you guys couldn't back him up with your two reapers(if I remember correctly) and a SS. Most of the time you came in one by one. I think you guys had the same idea: Area Denial. But we executed it properly. AND Loud of course :P 

 

@Freeze: Some play.tv installed with my graphics card driver a week ago. Is it maybe the mysterious program you are talking about? Can you upload the video?

People generally speak English in the TS, although some speak in their native language when with their country-mates.

Remeber, like we discussed last week this time I'll be selecting two people based to be dedicated team captains. Batpanda and I will be balancing the teams and a player will be randomly selected. Then that player and his counterpart on the other team will be the captians for the TDM, MA and Siege matches.

Here's why a team captain is important: it's not your job to micromanage every player's movement to be the highest scoring player on your team. The members of your team will handle all that. What they can't know is what's everyone's doing at any given time, so that's when you come in. Look at what every player is doing and make sure they know what everyone else is doing. is soneone's fighting a 1v1 and you see an enemy joining the fight: tell him to get out or make sure your team knows there will be two repairing enemy mechs there.

 

Look at your own team first, then the other.

 

 

Finally, a reminder that orblord internals (anything that gives a bonus to amount of armor from orbs or repair speed) and scanners are not allowed during training.

Hey Kobalt Defenders.
First of all it's been more than two months that I was unable to be in game as the motherboard of my systen broke down and thanks for the last two training session.Also I thank to both of you Dr_Freeze001 and Guns_N_Rozer from the core of my heart for allowing me to complete the remaining Training session even after a long time and get recruited in the clan.
Well now the good news is finaly I placed the order to the Dell for the new motherboard and I'm expecting to be back in game again by the first week of next week. as the service procedure will take 10 to 15 days.I'm also feeling very happy as I'm going to roll with you guys again.
See you guys again in the battlefield fellas.Thanks again. :)
