grind like mad, and buy an identical mech and load it with items and internals as well as weps. a fully customized mech. you can do it, sure you can! the po-peel mech master, only $199.94 plus $843.33 shipping and handling

pay to win, pay to look spiffy *i did* pay for weps and internals/items, grind *lots cheeper* or i see MWO has 3 free mechs for noobs to play.

I have 3 berserkers, 3 Assault -Bs, 3 Assault G2s, etc. While a time-consuming workaround, it would just be more convenient to allow swapping out main weapons "left-hand" for you pilgrims instead of swapping out entire mechs. I don't get the whole "can't do anything in the garage" mode. It's a garage, for Pete's sake! Think Formula 1! Heck, I'd like to be able to change paint jobs mid-game! If we can reincarnate using the garage, we certainly should be able to load up the SMG when things get tight!

Also, this latest patch I see addressed a lot of user imput/feedback ideas! Very nice to see,
