After the update where daily rewards were added, I started getting new G1-Mechs for playing.  Now I'm having garage problems with too many mechs--3 G1-Bruisers for example, in addition to my original G1 and G2 mechs.  Is there a way to delete a mech?  I do not want to lose my original G1 mechs so if Devs are listening, we should be able to choose not to receive a bonus mech for playing.  Appreciate the effort to improve the game, still one of the top two games I play.  Thanks.

rename the ones you want to play with. The list in game is alpha numeric descending. so if you name one

 

1) Bruiser

it will be listed before assault

since 0-9 get listed before A-z

 

Build yourself a list that you play with for the top of the selection screen.

This is a problem that has already been brought to the dev's attention, don't worry. I have like 4 bruisers sat in my garage I'm never going to use. A solution will be implemented eventually.

All my mechs now renaged into:
A0-brawler, A1-brawler, A2-civ, etc. for G2 mechs, and:
Z0-brawler, Z0-bruiser, Z0-assault, etc for G1 mechs. 
due the game don't have any sort mechanism for sorting, it is good way to sort them manually now, and cut the mechs which you no need to the end of the list.
using B0, B1, B2 and C0, C1, C2... probably not bad for divided mech by class.

um console cannot rename mech btw

It was possibly disabled as the PC method for renaming wouldn't directly work for console and needs 2x console specific edit panels to be designed.

 

I hope they are going to add this.

Thanks for the clarification; could not figure out how to rename anything.  Appreciate the replies to my post.  Still have to hawken everyday, but the competition from Elite Dangerous has taken my edge off and getting it back has been hampered by the update issues.  Never-the-less, the game is awesome and the teamwork using chat is just plain the best when you can find someone join in with.  Thanks again for the response.

I wonder if you connect a keyboard to the console, or maybe even a mouse, whether it would work or not. Doubtful, but worth testing.
