If you're buying something that you don't know all the details on, you shouldn't complain after the fact that it's not what you hoped for.

If you preorder a videogame at the store, and it turns out later that the reviews say it sucks, you don't get to demand that GameStop refund your preorder.

... I thought pre order refunds were legitimate so long as you didn't actually open the game box. I've refunded several pre orders this way.

perhaps it's a GameStop-specific policy_ The country I'm in doesn't have those and their policies may be different from the stores here. We're allowed full refunds so long as the item is never opened within a thirty day period.

I'm glad you all are on top of this after I spent the money to go Commando (er... Commander). I hope you all can enable the "account-bound, all mechs" camo/emblem usage and other items mentioned in this thread.

Regardless if you get to those items right away or not, I gladly purchased the Commander package to support the peeps at Meteor and Adhesive. You all have been nothing but helpful to the community as a whole since I joined up in Alpha 2 and I want to do my part to make sure that success continues through OB and Launch Day.

Question not exactly about the Vanguard but With the launch of open beta will those of us who partook in the alpha and were told we would get some kind of camo be getting this at the launch of the open beta and will it be account wide. Or will we have to wait on it.

Good question and you're right it isn't exactly on topic. This is likely going to be something we don't award until the camo is account-based if only to avoid confusion.

Let's clarify this a bit:

All Vanguard Initiative items (camo, thrusters, drone) will become account-bound (meaning they'll be available on any mech you own) when our system is ready to support that functionality. Until that time, they will be bound to the Cupcake mech.
