Sure. They're increasing the TTK, but they've done nothing, absolutely nothing, to address the fact that burst is highly superior to sustained damage.

Burst is also part of the fun, and a coordinated burst requires some skill (well, maybe not for every class but that's where the balance should be).

I'm having issues with my teamspeak not working with hawken fullscreened; my push to talk doesn't go through_ Is anyone else experiencing these issues_

I love the new camo's just not fan of price 579 MC bit much for me. =/

Run TS as Admin and on a side related note I wish balance updates would happen way more frequent than it is atm.

I like the new start up animations when selecting mechs in the garage. Especially the stuttering ones. Really gives the feel of "We built this out of whatever we could find. Ah, please work. Please, please work."

It seems the camera shake when zoomed in with the KE and Sabot took another reduction. It has never been easier to zoom, move, and shoot at the same time.

I'm anticipating a sound update for the Flak Cannon. The Mink Flak always sounded stronger than it. Also, I'm awaiting the return of the screen crack sound from closed beta.

The patch rolled out 5 am in my time zone. I had time for a power nap and still could play one match in the morning before going to work. I forgot to switch back my region (that explains why was there only one populated Facility DM server). Sorry for my ping Culex. :P

First off, coordinating burst damage doesn't take that much skill, especially in close range. Mid range merely requires you to lead with the slower traveling weapon and following up with the fast one. Long range means you're taking potshots where it doesn't matter, or you're playing SS, which again doesn't matter because of hitscan.

Secondly, what does "fun" have to do with the fact that burst is BETTER than sustained damage_ Whether burst is the most mind numbingly boring task in the world, or tantamount to having an fuzzy bunny, is entirely irrelevant.

After playing for a few hours, mostly as a Brawler, I have to say I'm really enjoying this patch. I actually feel seriously formidable at close range now. It's subtle, but those few extra hit points have bought me a couple of very precious seconds to correct for missed TOWs/Flak bursts against Class A mechs dodging and jumping all over the place. Oh and the Facility map looks completely amazing, the sheer level of detail compared to the test version is astounding, and I really like the way the lighting on the level has been adjusted, it gives it really great atmosphere. Even if the patch was slightly delayed, good work Adhesive!

In overall I like this patch a lot too ! Good job !

personnal feedback :

- Overall experience has improved, the game looks better and sounds better.
- the Facility map is awesome as expected, the mood and the details are perfect.
- HUD is more clear, at the cost of a bit more cluttering :

-the enemie/firendly mech life-bar is a bit big and the blinking yellow outline arround the hitted enemy life-bar is not very neccesary
since we already have a sound + crosshair feedback

While these are all positive changes, Ill actually be interested again when the tech is gone (sadly not going to happen) or its at least somewhat balanced ;)

May the unskilled become the most skilled. May the skilled remain the most skilled. Let the newest players have the most fun, and the most skilled have none. Let the skilled have fun, while the new have none. The unskilled maybe the most skilled if you let them be. The skilled may be the most killed if the world allows that. RAISINS!
