You don't need to bring a date, but if you do, that would be great! You see, the theme of the dance is "MELEE CONFIRMED!"
That means, that's right, 6vs6 squad matches where you do NOT use your guns, but rather dance an intricate dance involving your boosters, your dodging, and your ability to hover! You can ONLY deal damage by landing your mech upon your opponent! Work with your team to try to crush someone while not being ambushed and crushed yourself!
No repair drones! The match will take long enough as it is!

Buy your tickets now! Homecoming is going to come up fast!

This reminds me of the time we organized a 6v6 turret Rocketeer match, where you weren't allowed to lock on, and the only primary you could use was the old pre-buff EOC.

I would like to point out that the different weight classes deal different amounts of crushing damage, with the C's dealing the most and the A's the least of course.

The A's are faster and can jump higher though. Could actually be interesting. Lol.

I don't know if you'll get enough people though.

EDIT: ADDITIONALLY, I would looooove if some big names around the forum would attend Homecoming Dance. Maybe someone who has the computer specs needed to stream it. Wahaha.

I'm not sure if I qualify as a "big name" but if I'm available you can count me in! (Keep in mind I share a single laptop with my g/f ATM so my gaming time is spotty at best lol) Someone else will have to stream it though, I barely get 30 frames as is.

I walked into this thread thinking someone asked someone out to homecoming by building a life sized brawler figure with the words on the cockpit "WILL YOU GO TO HOMECOMING WITH ME" . What I saw was acutally way way cooler. One of you guys add me to friends and if I am on at the time invite me... cuz my gaming times depend on the weather and the ALL POWERFUL PARENTS (PLZ NERF HAMMER THEM DEVS)

The one with crazy amounts of damage, but only blew up if you were right on top of it, and the projectiles traveled slower than a obese mother from a "yo mama" joke.
