This week! We got the March patch and a chance to play it! Yet another campaign has popped up in favour of reducing the fire delay after jumping and dodging, and more! We got a ton of questions last time, and we still have some of those to get through, but more questions is always more gooder, so bring 'em on in!


Also! We'll be giving away some Hawken Credits this show to a lucky viewer, so make sure you watch and are following the stream! If you're not following the show, you aren't eligible to win!

If you haven't already, go join the official Hawken Steam group, and also write a review for Hawken, and upvote the ones you like! Gotta get the word out about Hawken and get as many new players as we can!

I believe it's either because of two of these things:

• It's in a section of the forums that doesn't get attention.
  
• People simply don't have many questions.

On a related note, I simply forgot about this section till I saw "Cockpit Podcast".

If you could just say thanks for the EU servers to Vana (so he can pass it on, don't let him hog the glory ), that would be great!
I know they're in testing but they're a serious improvement for just about everyone that's used them; even me... from the UK.
They're feel more responsive, smoother, and my ping has halved.

I would say it myself during the show but I'm not alive at that time of night!

• Any news on improving the currently broken party system_ How about automatically reforming the party after a match where members of the party were switched (and therefore removed from the party)_ Some suggestions: link

• Will there be even more crosshair choices added in the near future_
  
• Is it possible to further spilt up the HUD colors_ Some people just want the dasboard, radar or crosshair in a different color and not everything at once. There are some mock-ups for splitting the HUD in this thread: link

Wow, the addition of EU servers and now winning HC. All this in one week, someone really likes me up there in Illal, Thank you. Keep up the excellent work you're doing with the show. Certainly had a lot of questions to digest, especially for guys who are at another time zone (6:00am for God's sake) But it was worth it. thank you very much.

The conversation about the Predator certainly was raised, but you can forget about buff. Van insisted decisively that the predator is in a good state and well balanced and it's all about persistence in learning the proper use of his unique style, tactics and his role on the field. personally, all I wanted is to increase the RoF.

Answering KejIGoto question about why people boost all the time giving away their position.

I play like this just because its just more fun for me to be aggressive than waiting and camping, my play style, and it never was   most efficient.
You got  punished by taking first hit,  but then you still had a change hit back  or even outmaneuver your opponent  in close combat, with dodge+boost dance,  now its pretty much impossible if  enemy not making huuuuge mistakes.


Like Leon said, this change limits options and play style diversity.

All I wanted was an increase in ROF for both its default weapons.
As well as a speed buff to the EOC P with a slight heat reduction.
That is all I'm asking for, for it to be imo more suited to 1v1 combat.

So sorry for making people uncomfortable w/ my questions...

My concern was that new players on Steam may not necessarily come here (or just see spam if they did) and may miss crucial information... like the Google docs that update weapon damage, various tips/suggestions.  Maybe some is cross-posted_  Also seemed natural to consider adding community managers from the community to help moderate the spam.  I understand the downsides and reasons as you discussed yesterday.

I try to communicate as many of the Google docs or stats that the community here has worked out over to the Steam forums because people really just don't know.  I've seen quite a few people getting confused over those weird stats numbers and the former stat bars in-game.
