European Fight Club XIII: For Science

May 24^th (Saturday)
After the EMP podcast
~21:00 Western European Summer Time
~22:00 Central European Summer Time
~23:00 Eastern European Summer Time

1V1 & 2V2

Setup:
Played on the CRITICAL-ASSIST private server running Fight Club Test Arena


We have the following mods:
No repair: repair drones are disabled, everything else still works
No radar: radar is disabled on HUD
No IFF: you need to aim at a mech to see if it friendly or foe
Friendly Fire: You can hurt your own teammates

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE
Join the Critical Assist TeamSpeak server (ts.criticalassist.eu:9999) around a half an hour beforehand to receive the password and be able to hear the countdowns!

Yeah, sorry. I suggested to move the EMP one hour earlier because of this, but seems like this is better for my British colleagues.

I like the idea of the 2v2, I just hope I don't do what I did last time......

I got confused playing 2v2 tech with Houruck, then chased him down and killed him. My powers of observation are a little ropey........

Since yesterday there is a huge problem with uk servers, I don't know if it is a good idea to fight with 140, 180, 200+ ping.
It seems that only i3d servers are not affected, but I am not sure because I have not tested them.

This private server is located in Ireland, hosted by AWS,
I tested it just now, and I had 140 ping instead of my usual 60-80.

The point of this Fight Club was to test the arena and the mods on a private server, but if nothing changes we should try to use an i3d server. And if we can not connect to those, I have to postpone this event.
