Description

You are a notorious gang of elite marauders that raids bases and ships for their valuables. Cutthroat daredevils, you strip clean even highly-secured premises, leaving no one alive.

One day you receive intel about a crash of a ship containing tons of valuable cargo. Jerry, the gang leader, identifies the ship as the rumored Flying Dutchman that allegedly contains secret Pulse Cannon prototypes. He decides to disregard the other cargo and focus on retrieving the cannons.

Robin, the gang's think tank, quickly devises a special kind of scanner that can locate the prototypes. He says it should be installed on a high place to cover the largest area possible, so that you can find and retrieve the cannons.

You grab the scanner and rush to the crash site to loot the prototypes as quickly as possible, before anyone else can lay their hands on them.

So you are looking for hacks to rat out players that achieve them thus blocking out those holes so there are no more easter eggs to find or enjoy_

This may be the first time I've seen someone complain about potentially fixing map exploits

"Bugs" and "exploits" control are whats killing the game.
People want on the buildings and rocks.
It isn't an exploit.

In walls or out of the map is an exploit and only then if it gives a player an unfair advantage.
People want to be on top of buildings. Why not make them accessable to all_
Players like the challenge.

Blue walls and invisible barriers should only be on the perimeter. Anywhere on the play area should be accessable and fair game. Not blocked out.
Please don't use the "camping" excuse.
If everyone had the same access then there wouldn't be much camping would there_ Nowhere would be safe.

Try it on a map and see if the new steam players like it.
The worst that can happen is I'm right. If I'm wrong then nothing changes and Hawken tanks...

We need to try something different. The current formula of higher restrictions and mobility limits are killing the player base.

Would love those blue walls to be totally removed but from the map's frontiers. If people can reach some place, let them do it.

You have to understand that not everything that's wrong with hawken (or just partially wrong) is killing the player base. Killing the player base isn't something easy that anything could cause it. Things might not be totally right, or a bit unsuitable for ultimate fun, but you can't really say that they're killing the player base. People won't leave the game cuz they can't climb.

Though I know why you like the climbing freedom so much, and I'm definitely with you on it.

There really are an unnecessary amount of walls in some of the maps. If a place should not be reached by a player, design it so it makes sense visually. I shouldn't look at an easily-reachable rock or rooftop and NOT be able to climb it. I have thrusters! I wanna use 'em!

Obviously there are much more pressing matters, but this is important for a lot of people.

Guys, I would like to ask you to move with all your negativity to another thread. This thread is dedicated to a community event; it is not about what is wrong with the current layout of energy walls.

More spots to access around the maps would be great, but I think once you see where you can really get to you will agree that many exploits need to be fixed.
