I usually don't have a problem but a few people will verbally assault me or anyone I know the moment I or they are in the same match together, it's annoying and quite frankly what makes me mad isn't what they say, it's that they are able to get away with it.
The only real way I have to deal wit this I making sure I'm better than them on the battlefield so I have my own harmless ammo to throw back at them. it's to the point where I question these persons ability to function out in the real word

Toxic with eachother is an issue. This recent posting, ranting, or voicing of concerns with Hawken is something brought on by the devs. A concerned restless community left in the dark, what was the expectation_

You can mute players. Click their name while on the team balance screen. Clicking names in the chatbox should work too. I know that doesn't solve your problem, but I thought you may not know that little fact.

Well, most of the hate seems to stem from the haccusations.
There should be a callout system, and if you are wrong YOU get named and shamed.

That would only cause more drama.

Video evidence.  All that gets submitted at some point and someone at ADH makes a decision.

Forum drama = fun :)

Forums are kind of ok, it's just that there's nothing going on in Hawken so a lack of things to talk about.  It's a bit abrasive but I find it mostly sarcastic.  I draw the line at threats, racial stuff etc, that is not cool.  And being mean isn't that great either.

I'm terrible in game in Seige.  Sorry.  I just.  Why play that mode if you really want to play TDM... ya know_!
Some people in game are a really rude though, for no reason.  Just because someone plays better than them.  Muted a few people myself.

Yeah, the community does seem to be getting a little more rowdy, as of late. I understand the building frustration about the lack of dev transparency (which is a very real issue), and the same lack of updates, but that doesn't excuse the recent blatant disregard of any kind of civility. Where there are good folks making real contributions to the betterment of this game and it playerbase, there's that unsavory group that's out starting flamewars and hijacking threads. A while back, in the midst of the Klown incident, I suggested a community-run blacklist. For example, it would be a petition thing; "Player DerpADurp has been nominated for a ban, sign here if you agree," or something along those lines. The majority said that the devs/mods could handle it, and I wanted to believe that, so I just let it go. But once again, I feel like there isn't a strong enough presence from the powers that be to keep folks in line. And not even like a "police-state" situation, just enough to keep things civil. Once again, I find myself wanting someway for the community to take matters into it's own hands.

Yes. Yes. I love the phrase non sequitur. I don't know why. It just verbally sounds so nice, and you used it properly, and your point was valid. +1.

I am great, aren't I_

That's exactly what I meant by snobbery.

Why I've tried to stay away from the forums as of recently, or at least withhold my comments from them.

EDIT: You might have been talking about me with the sexuality thing, though I've stopped following  the event of things so I truly have no idea....

On the other hand I am looking forward to the new arena shooter by the name "Toxikk" coming out soon....
Where I work the commonly used phrase for fuzzy bunny everything is "critical." And I work in medicine. It's not a word that should be tossed around very often.

i do not care. you know why i do not care_
i use several rules in internet.
rule # 1
1) this is internet.
rule # 2
2) this is internet, fuzzy bunny!

if someone say you something abusive, answer him: "Shut up fuzzy bunny and suck my fuzzy bunny!!! I'm king here!
Mwahahaha!", because...this is internet.

problem solved.
