I can't join games. It says that it's connecting and after that it just doesn't connect and 2 minutes later it says connection to host lost. I tried restarting hawken and steam, it did not work.
Any suggestions on what to do.


Can't make a video, my computer can't handle it.

Are you selecting a server and trying to launch the game_  If so this does not always work for me as well.  I just use the match making which seems to work.

Matchmaking doesn't work as well.

You could try sending the devs a support ticket. They may be able to fix the problem or even give you some helpful advice to fix it.

I'll wait for a day, this had happened once before, it started working after a day. So I'll just wait it out. If it doesn't work by tomorrow I'll send a support ticket.

With all due respect sending a ticket is useless... I've had 2 tickets open for months now and not even an acknowledgement.
Also the not one Dev has bothered to post in the forums on any content patches, work in progress, or status updates...
The forums have run wild with dissention amongst the ranks.

Try a ticket... I think you`d have more luck with a prayer to GOD.
Right now Hawken needs a miracle and there`s not one in sight...

If it happened before and then magically just started working again after a day, that seems like a computer hardware / software installation of another program that is causing conflicts and causing that lost drops.

Or could be your ISP causing drops to certain routes.  You could try to run traceroutes to different locations and compare them with a multiple traceroutes to the hawken servers and see if you get drops, and if so where.

Without more information it would be hard to tell if it had anything to do with the game.  As of right now cant seem to say it has really anythign to do with the game itself.

Edit: Spliff please dont turn this into another negative thread on someone seeking help.  Theres a million and one to choose from on the boards currently.

I had the same problem. Try changing your server location or jumping into a friend's match. I couldn't get into a seige match for sometime. I got in one by joining the serer of my frien and I have no problems ever since!

which server u trying to use_
if you press "play game" and nobody play in your region, u can't connect i think.

I'm gonna post a video in the next 24 hours, it's a bit hard to explain.
I am trying to join a server with people in it.
I tried Singapore, uk and use servers, none of them work.

Did you already try resetting your config files as described in step 3 of this thread: http://steamcommunit...52451325040024/ _ I know that you already reinstalled the game but the config files don't get deleted when you unistall the game via Steam so you should reset them manually.

If resetting your config files doesn't work then try the steps listed in this support ticket: https://playhawken.z...able-to-Connect

check all your network cables for damage, pets, mice_ (my wife had a rabbit, had to splice/replace most of my cables)

cycle power on all your network gear. (modem, router, switches, etc...)

check for new drivers for your network card, wireless or wired.

re-install drivers for your network card.

try starting windows without anything running in the background. (msconfig / startup / disable all)
just in case something is blocking hawken.

re-install hawken


thats all that comes to mind atm.

ISP problem confirmed, took my laptop to my friends house and managed to get ito a match
