Next week's match: I will be out of commission this weekend. If absolutely necessary I can play with horrendous ping (I will be at my parents house, they have shite internet). If vR would like to move forward with the match and we have enough without me, go ahead. I will be back at my house late sunday night (pst) through thursday morning so early in the week is great for me.

Wednesday was just what worked. It will be 2 rounds or 3 rounds, depending on if we win one (probably 2 rounds, but hey lets be optimistic).

Seems like a clan I'd like to join. I'm an NA player with hopes of improving my mech piloting skills, maybe one day some light competitives. As for activity, I'm often on and off, cycling between my major games. Hawken's high on my list of main games, though, so we don't have to worry too much about it. No mic, but I can get on TS and listen. I'm currently a student with a relatively large amount of extra-curriculars, so my schedule might be a little finicky.

ATTENTION:

 

If at all possible, I would like anyone available to show up in the teamspeak by 7pm PST tomorrow (at the latest), ESPECIALLY if you are registered for the team on the TPG website.

Unfortunately coldform has had to go afk earlier than anticipated, so he will be more or less without internet for the coming month. Most urgently this means that he will not be at our official tpg match tomorrow night. That means we need someone to step forward and play (preferably someone already registered on the tpg site).

If any of you have any further questions, I will try to answer as well as I can before tomorrow's match. Other than this, business as usual pilots!

Al3x will be playing tonight! However Deerax has been having some internet troubles, so if possible he would like someone to sub for him. As such, I would still like everyone to show up tonight. We will most likely be using War Wednesday as a warmup, but either way we will be in the teamspeak from now until the match at 7:30.

Oh, I suppose daylight saving time won't matter if we consider PST swapped with PDT during daylight saving. That way we assume the current time is always "standard time". So unless it's strictly PST and training switches to 7 PM during daylight saving, it's always 9 PM ET, which I can make during the summer. School year, though, that's a different case. If possible I'd prefer training to be either pushed earlier an hour or be available on Fridays. I've sent a reply over on the website, hope that thread isn't too old.

Thing 1: How would everyone feel about having a last minute practice tomorrow? We missed a practice this week and I'd like to make up for it. I'm flexible on time, but preferably not too late, it's my buddy's 21'er.

 

Thing 2: Elite asked if we can do our week three match on Sunday at 10:30 or 11pm EST. I know this is later than normal, but it would be a huge help if we can just do that match then. Anyway let me know ASAP.

 

Thing 3: A couple people have confirmed their interest in participating in TPG on a second (TDM) team. If you are at all interested - I don't care if you are part of the clan or not - please let me know, we would love to have you come out.

 

Thing 4: I subbed for TANG tonight in a couple of scrims against Omni. It was good fun, and I learned a lot by being in comms and playing with a team that has done this before. I'll talk about my thoughts on a couple things at our next practice.

I don't know... I was considering applying as a sub/reserve for the second TPG team, but the matches seem pretty late and I don't have a mic so communication would be more difficult. If the clan needs people to fill up slots though, we could probably work something out.

@saber: go ahead and install TS, jump in the channel, and listen in on the comms. Show up early, so you can sort out recording issues and stuff. If anything, you can be assigned as a wingman, and just follow that team mate around. Either way, I'd say show up and play, cuz you're still gonna love it, either way.

EDIT - Upon looking through the rules on the TPG website, it appears they consider "adding, deleting, or modifying player and/or environment models and/or skins" cheating. Currently I'm running nepacaka's custom FPS config just to get an acceptable amount of FPS, which would fit into this since it removes almost all textures from the game. I have a rather poor quality computer, so without it I get around 20-35 fps. This is a pretty troublesome bottleneck...

Hey sabre, Nept says those setting are okay (but he'll make a post regarding that sometime this week).

 

Anyway, we are currently hoping to combine efforts with LGBTQ to make this team happen. In this case, we will forgo any clan affiliation. As I've stated earlier, if ANYONE, regardless of affiliation with either clan, would like to participate in TPG, please let myself (or W 32) know. We would all love to see a 10th TPG team this season.
