I'm currently at my parent's house for the weekend, and I wanted to let everyone know ahead of time that I may not be back in town in time for our regularly scheduled practice. If coldform is around, or if you guys want to just run things by yourselves, feel free to proceed without me. Otherwise, I would like to postpone practice until Tuesday.

Tonight will just be practice as usual, we have not managed to schedule our match yet. We have until August 8th to play the match, but it needs to be scheduled by Sunday. Because of Axe Attack's work schedule/geographic location, it is difficult for them to play before 10:30 EST on any given day. I know that this is quite late for a lot of you, but please let me know if there are any days where that is an option.

Copied from the clan site, here's a long overdue update from me:

 

TPG season is well underway at this point, and I would like to say that I'm very impressed with everyone's improvement. However, I would like to see more of you at practice, attendance has been a little light lately. As always, everyone is welcome at practice, not just those on the team. Practice is still Mondays and Thursdays at 6PM PST (9pm EST). We're going to start doing drills at practice more frequently; stuff like secondary only and silo capture/defense drills. Also, I'm going to be out of town Monday through probably Thursday next week, however I believe we will still have a match vs SASC during that time. So I'll need as many people as possible to be available for that since I most likely won't be there.

A word on events now. Keep showing up to War Wednesday and Sundsy Sunday Sunday DM if you can make it, they're good events and good fun. As far as upcoming stuff goes, cyber and I had talked about putting on an event jointly hosted by TDM and SOD (sentinels of death, the Brazilian clan) on the South American servers, open to the public. I envision this event as a sort of "fill the SA servers" day, where people from all regions come and hang out with our southern co-pilots. If anyone has any ideas for fun stuff to do there or a name for the event let me know! It's still in the early planning stages.

I would also like to plan an out-of-bounds fightclub event at some point, we could call it "No Holds Barred" or something along those lines. Again, this would be an event open to the public and hosted by TDM. Both of these events that I just talked about will probably need to take place after TPG season, just because of how busy everyone is.

I have created a doodle pool here that I would like you guys to fill out. It's just a sample week, so don't worry about anything specific to individual dates on this. 

This goes for everyone, not just those on the tpg team. I know peoples schedules change, so I wanted to update so as many people as possible can attend. If y'all have any other feedback regarding practice, go ahead and fill me in here!

I realized today that between TPG and irl stuff and what not, I haven't sat down and had a good Hawken binge in months. So, if any of you wonderful pilots would like to join me, I'm going to be playing Hawken most of tomorrow (don't forget we also have a match at 9:30 EST). I'll try to be in the teamspeak most of the day.

No worries Dee. This is kind of an old match that we just need to get done asap. I'll try to schedule next week's when you can make it.

Coldform is working on getting our new website this week, along with which we got our on teamspeak (TDM-clan.enjinvoice.com)! We will still be utilizing the Hawken Teamspeak for most purposes, but we now also have the Clan TDM TS at our disposal. Feel free to chime in as to whether or not you even think we need our own TS, if we don't end up using it much then we don't need to be paying for it.

 

Stay tuned for more info on the new website, we will be needing everyone to "re-apply" once it is up just to get y'all onto the site. Also stay tuned for potential updates to the practice schedule (I'll be making a decision regarding that this week).

Hey guys, given last night's events, there's a new password on the tpg servers. With that, we need to be me more strict about how we give out that password, for example don't say it over coms if someone is streaming or recording. Also (I would obviously) don't just hand out the password willy nilly. It's okay if we use the server, just know who we're letting in.
