Its not an argument, its simply the truth.  Just take a look at what has transpired.  

 

His responses to certain people cause others to jump in and express their loyalty and allegiance.  Even just simply looking at who takes 2 seconds to click the like button shows this allegiance clearly.  Are you seriously that ignorant that you can't recognize it?

 

He is fighting a losing battle against a collective.  It is futile.

Had you bothered to pay attention you would have noticed that, while certainly some care quite a bit about their position on the leader board, there TONs of reasons why people smurf, and a minuscule portion of them are in any way malicious.

 

Oh I'm not ignoring statements, they have said them many times in this thread.  If you want me to, I'll quote every last one of them.  I'm also not talking about the other reasons why people smurf.  I'm talking about the ones that have said they smurf cause they don't want to try hard every match.  Those are the ones that are being fuzzy bunnyng sore losers here.  So lets just make sure we are on the same subject, cause I'm not sure you understood what I wrote, either that or you ignored it.

Exactly. There are tons of reasons. I don't mind playing against alt accounts like meleefanatic. It's fully leveled. It has high MMR. It's actually more fun because I can kill hestoned easier when he's not trying as hard.

Competitive players shouldn't be punished for not wanting to play at max level. Noobs and mid tier players shouldn't be subjected to the negative effects of smurfing. We are arguing with each other when we should simply be angry at the system, man.

I'm sorry, Crafty - but this is wrong. The majority of people do not care about the things that do not affect them with Oceania's situation being one of them. Maybe you and a few others are sorry, and for that I thank you, but the damage has already been done.

 

 

 

Here are some suggestions to help find ways to participate in the topic of this thread and perhaps the Hawken community in general:

 

I would suggest moving to somewhere nearer to civilization to play against people on smurf accounts (topical), acclimating to 400ms latency on a smurf account (ouch), or convincing other people living in the Pacific Ocean to play Hawken on smurf accounts (preferred method).

 

 

If you want me to contribute to this thread more actively then I'll tell you that smurfs had destroyed Oceania. Remember the skilled people I mentioned before? Well, they all have smurf accounts. It led to unbalanced teams, poor matchmaking and a quick decrease in Oceania's population after everyone returned when Reloaded bought Hawken. Of course, they could have just gotten bored as well. I knew at least 95% of all the people who played on the OC servers which was from veterans to complete noobs that I tried to sell the game to.

 

But I have said this already, Crafty. I've said it and nobody seemed to take me seriously. What do you do when that happens?

 

I also do not know why I was disagreeing with you. I've likely got a chip on my shoulder. Which would be a good reason to not be taken seriously I guess.

Why Smurfs don't matter.

This is the same range match I'd be playing in anyway.

6 kills 3 deaths.  mmr average 1813.19.   Range 1450-2200.

Very first match this smurf acct ever played.  swapped teams for balance.

Score 36 - 32. 

Decent players in there, gunzfire with lead and justgoharder.

Please, recognize that at no time did I say or infer a conspiracy of any type.  Please read the words I write and quit searching for a means to infer some underlying agenda to twist things out of proportion.

Ignoring posts is account wide not computer dependant, so either you are not logged in on the second computer, or you simply didn't add my username to the ignore list on the computer using the 2nd account.

 

Either way, if you truly were able to ignore my posts, you should be smart enough to see my username and not read them, which you have proven to be incapable of on many fronts.  Reading them in secret and then responding is not ignoring them.  In fact reading them at all is not ignoring them.  So like I said, its fine, it really is, just don't lie to everyone multiple times and say you are successfully doing it, because you aren't.
