My main three brawlers are currently running these builds:

 

High population build: advanced armor fusor, deflectors, composite armor

 

1v1 build: advanced reconstructor, deflectors, basic fuel converter

 

Hybrid build: advanced armor fusor, deflectors, basic fuel converter

 

Anybody have any suggestions or ideas? Please let me know, I want to experiment a little bit without burning through 100000 HC buying mechs and internals/items.

There are no results for 'brawler build' and even if you only search 'brawler' this is the only one that appears.

 

EDIT: Even if you search the name of that thread there are no results...

Air compressor Brawler is always something I never expect but run across every now and then, not to say that Air Compressor (insert mech here) will always be an optimal build.  It's worth an experiment, I think.

There's no composite armor in that thread because being rewarded for dying is a stupid concept imo.

 

 

I personally use the "Hybrid build" you described in the OP.

I kinda just love power surger on everything.  All mechs should go faster

AC Brawler is best brawler. At least for close range flak builds.

Honestly I find it works best on Wreckage, if only because no one expects the Brawler to be above them when they're coming around a corner. There are a lot of corners.

 

It has the health to deal with the fact that it's an easy target for a split second if they are expecting it.

i'm trying find a build against mama-incinerator with fusor (and with composite). cuz it overheat me faster than i can kill it (if it have pocket tech it is impossible to do with flak or SA, cuz small range, or small dps, big saare splash, overheat...)
it is one of the enemy who just takedown my brawler by numbers. like anti-brawler mech

probably, i should try Vulcan+Compressor+Fusor
because enormous splash is killing me if i not start to fly.

any ideas about it? i mean, best brawler build against mama-inci?

Dodge away from the Incin's front right before the SAARE fires, and cool down in cover before you overheat.

If the Incin has a Tech, don't engage unless you've enough backup from the team.

i play a little today. hm...it seems like something wrong with hawken for me. people, which i can easily (more or less) kill before, now almost invulnerable for me. i can't hit anyone :D

90% sure it is not my fault. maybe i should try another servers than frankfurt. or i need call my internet provider.

I was neglecting brawler for a long time, and I now have found,that it is good fit for me.

I play up the massive health pool with deflectors and armor fusor, and decided to use power surge to alleviate the lack of speed.

I seriously forgot how much fuzzing fun brawler was, you aren't the only one

I like to run 3 slot re-constructor and 3 slot armor fuser.  Especially with the cowbell equipped.

 

I have an alternate build with deflectors, re-constructor, and fuel converter, but I find the re-constructor/fuser to work better in team settings.

 

A/C Brawler is always fun, especially to get on top of the AA.
