In the interests of advancing noobdom and by the decree of the Lord of the Scrubs and the High Tier IRC Cabal, now hear this:

 

It has come to my attention that we all get various hackusations, and while it's hilarious to mock the hackusers privately and on this forum, no one has put any dedicated effort at really mocking, really tearing into the salty fuzzy bunnys who dispense these.

 

Well. We all know what I'm like.

 

Therefore, I am announcing a new youtube series, in the spirit of Your Hatemail Will Be Graded, Your Hackusations Will Be Graded. Here's how it works:

 

1. Submit to my email a screencap or video of you getting hackused. As much text and salt as possible, please.
2. The hackusation will be graded on the quality of its salt, your score vis-a-vis theirs, and the relative skill/shittiness of your play, where possible.
3. A video, complete with the grades, rationale, and caustic vitriol, will be posted for y'all's entertainment.

 

Submit to me your salty snacks so that I might have munchies to go with my beer!

I'm sure I have a video somewhere of me getting accused of hacking, whilst pubstomping, as an absolute zerkhure, by a mid grade player who was also stomping in from auto-queue, just because he'd never seen my name before.

 

Or something like that.

 

It will not be the saltiest thing you ever witness, however I will volunteer as tribute.

 

I'm looking forward to the future of this thread.  There's got to be some serious salt cubes out there, and we all want to see you lick them.

Since accusing me of cheating is personally offensive for me, I started recording entire gameplay, and if someone accuses, I just upload the entire match or just the relevant engagement. Here's a playlist. It contains also some of my gameplay montages, enjoy. ^_^

If im not mistaken coldform you have a video/screen shots from that one day an aimbotter admitting to cheating in Hawken purposely because he said I hacked and I think you have the arguement lol idk. please confirm, ps it was on Wreckage

Man, not so much a hackusation, but i'm so disappointed I can't share a beautiful instance of salt (I hit record too late, only captured the last sliver of the event):

> waiting for his move, keeping myself on the opposing side

I get so giddy imagining his overconfidence in his massive health pool, taunting me, then becoming so enraged by such a simple tactic

Revgl aimbot haccusations are one thing but best one so far must be getting haccused in bot tdm for getting too many kills. (I got lucky and bots + that one player in my team didnt really score any kills and I managed to get 38 kills out of 40.)

I'm not that bad (> 2K MMR), but I'm not hackused that often, it happened to me only a few times, and lately when I was playing a hawkins brawler.

And I was wondering why, as other player with lower MMR are hackused (I don't imply that MMR is the best performance indicator, but still it does somehow represent your skill).

My accuracy is not that bad (I buy new mechs / create new accounts to check my accucary, I have around 40% accucacy with AR and over 55% with TOW, and with my reaper account I figured out that 'm not bad with KE-sabot).

 

I always have a CRT-Recruit without internal or items that I use for practice (in every account I have), and even when I rofl stomp a server with it I'm not hackused.

 

One reason could be that I do rarely play in servers really low, or if so there are frequently other players with a MMR close to mine.

Other reason could be the Mech choice : I rarely play SS.

Another reason could be the playstyle : I like to push, even when I play reaper, and I don't snipe that much from afar.

 

What's your receipe for being hackused ? The easiest way should be to play SS, play in a low server and pick up low HP target poorly hidden in Bazaar or Bunker ? But that ain't fun.

There is something of a stigma surrounding reaper, especially AmSar reaper, and their tendency to be abused by botters. In fact of the the 4 notable hackusations I have received, 3 were in a reaper.

 

For some reason landing every single shot with a Reflak or an SMC or something doesn't really set people off, but if you do it with an AmSar folks get suspicious.

 

With that said, I don't condone fishing for hackusations. Please don't do that.

It could be that the AM-SAR is Semi-auto, and hackers fire that thing like it's full auto, let alone the part that they never miss. It's like playing against Crafty, but stranger.

In addition that rev gl gren je hackuse was made by an account actually banned for aim/speed cheats.
It is one of my proudest achievements in my pro Hawken career.

On topic: I'm sad that I don't regularly record my gameplay because I had a couple of very amusing haccusations a good while back, one from a player who was absolutely certain I was botting in my Assault to the point that he spent the next round following me around EMPing me, and another when I was bored and was derping around in co-op TDM in an Incin, and the other Incin player in the match claimed that my hacks were causing the bots to be too difficult for the rest of the team to beat. The salt was so real, but I have nothing to show of it. :(

You are confusing GL with Rev GL, because you do not know any better.

 

It is the slowest projectile primary with 75 damage per shot and overheats in 12 seconds if you do not use the Grenade secondary.

 

It is the most fun directly hitting flying and dodging a classes where every shot is a skill shot, and every kill should be worth quadruple because the user is a classy boss and everyone else is bad and smells bad and should feel bad.

 

Noone will ever accuse you of aimbotting with it.

And the people who never accuse you of aimbotting with it will never be banned for speedhack/aimbot.

 

I have won the highest possible grade in this thread, and I deserve it because I worked hard, studied for it, ate well, and exercised regularly.

 

Let this be a lesson.
