You know, all of my life, I've heard that a truly successful player, a really, really successful player and even modestly successful cannot make forum suggestions. Just can't happen. And yet that's the kind of mindset that you need to make this forum great again.

 

So ladies and gentlemen...I am officially suggesting... that we return mech hitboxes to their original sizes, and we are going to make our game great again.

 

It can happen. Our game has tremendous potential. We have tremendous players.

 

We have players that aren't playing. We have players that have no incentive to play. But they're going to have incentive to play, because the greatest target is a hitbox. And they'll be proud, and they'll love it, and they'll gain much more MMR than they would've ever gained, and they'll be— they'll be doing so well, and we're going to be thriving as a community, thriving. It can happen.

 

If my suggestion gets approved, it will bring it back bigger and better and stronger hitboxes than ever before, and we will make Hawken great again.

I'm favorable to a bigger hitbox so that the game will be more open to new players and/or lesser sharp aimers.

It will bring a more strategic aspect in the game as it will required a good battlefield awareness like a mecha game should be.

Aside, the TTK should be raised up slightly to compensate.

 

I really miss some feelings from old-old-hawken (2013)

No. If the boxes get bigger, the ttk 'must' go up. Right now, the shields are a necessary component to stay alive from an instance of focus fire, or getting hit with a sabot shot or tow, followed by focus fire - and I say that as a player who leans toward speed internals.

You also don't dodge, can't hit the broad side of a barn and appear to think it's the responsibility of better players to condescend to your level.

The onus of proof's on you, particularly since Gueber HAS PROVIDED the proof that hit boxes have been reverted.
