am i the only one that has the game lock up and make weird static noises on the between match screen?  i doubt it..why has this not been fixed yet?? this will drive away most players

First, is your vid driver current? Submit a ticket. If you have a crash dump or other evidence add that. Specify your version of Windows, vid card, hdd/sdd, vid driver version.

For example, if you're using an m.2 ssd, not everyone might share the issue.

win 10 64bit pro..8 core amd 8370e..16 gigs ram..960 nividia..i have a ssd but only for my os..all games on a sata..and yes all drivers are up to date..this is the only game that gives me problems..i have seen other people say something about it in the in game chat so i know its not only me

Submit a ticket to hawken.zendesk.com with all the info. Support guys are using it to keep track of bugs.

 

Sadly, it's normal that the new version of Hawken has a lot of errors, and in many cases different errors between different people.

I currently play 8 online MMO's. I play 17 solo play games. This is the only one that causes computer lockups. And game lock ups and crashes. None of the other games cause me any problem of any kind. I have 4 computers with 3 different OS. It does the same thing on all of them. So not the computer. Not a computer hardware problem. It is clearly a coding issue. Period. Yes turn in a report. Hopefully they will get it fixed. TBH, the game didn't need the "update". It needed fixed and maybe some new maps. And I and many others don't like the new "update" at all. So good luck with your (and mine) problems with the game mate. I hope it gets fixed soon™.

I haven't sent a ticket as i figure many people are getting the fatal errors and they must be well aware of the problems. They have to know there are huge issues since the servers are empty now and player numbers are at the all time low. Many pilots can not even log in so i figure that is what they are working on first.

 

I recently had to get rid of the config file and do a reinstall to get it to launch. I was getting the same type of fatal error before start up. I am not sure, but it seems my fatal errors has the game calling for things that are not there. A message box pops up after the game crash with a place to add text but I do not see a way to send it. I just close it.

yeah i dont know how to do the whole ticket thing..i just know it locks up and the screen goes white and it stops responding..one time it did it the instant i hit the key to chat in game..sometimes right before i launch in game..just wondering if i was not alone

Only for the purpose of perspective, I have not had any crashes on the new Hawken build.

My dual SLI config with updated NVIDIA drivers is more than up to the task of rendering the game. I tested it with a few training offline TDM matches and I can confirm that it randomly locks up on me as well.

Had a few lockups, though for me they are always temporary. Usually lasts around 4 seconds. In-game, while it happens, try using stat fps and stat unitgraph to see where the lockups are happening.

 

For me, I see Game and Frame spiking up to around 4,000 ms (in the red) when it does this. Reinstalling to an SSD seems to have fixed the problem thus far.

Interestingly enough, I just experienced this same behavior on my ps4 version of the game.

Does that mean your computer is paging to disk? Do you have a heap of memory?
