I hadn't even thought about the failsafe+fuel converter, lol. I was thinking about using barricades on the bridge, but I didn't know how to get across the moat without them, lol

and who is this Anton_Rider guy..._ Has an awfully close name to me...

There are things that are in my power, and there are thing that are not in my power; and transferring the prizes falls into the latter category.

I don't like your condescending tone, to be honest — you seem to not realize just how much work goes into organizing an event like this. I spend days preparing and maintaining stuff, and I get absolutely nothing in return, except for the imaginary currency called "Likes". I organize these events so that people have fun jumping and goofing off around maps, and you are ruining this all from your high horse. I find your attitude confusing.

Yeah, if DerMax can't do anything about it, then being rude isn't really gonna help. Setting up these challenges, giving them some backstory, etc, I think he has done alot for our entertainment in these cruel times. I certainly enjoyed this event and the promise of getting MC is a great bonus. Might as well just give out some HC codes and call it a day, but instead he goes through all this "negotiating" with devs so we can later buy some beautiful camos, I find it very satisfying.

Sorry, but I don't like what the contest stands for.
It's just one more thing that the dev's will take away.

Honestly I appreciate your effort. I just wish it was used in productive direction.
We need to grow and retain players not have easter eggs video recorded for patching out purposes and minimal or undisclosed rewards as the prize money.

I have goofed around on the maps and have my pic's to prove it. But I don't show them for one reason. I don't want the easter eggs taken from the game. I made it out of wreckage within hours of playing it.

Hell, When VOIP worked I trained people to get there on all the maps.
I never thought it fair to use the terrain by only a select few. I called for all the terrain to be opened up. Certain elitest groups were listened to and the vertical limits were lowered and the rooftops became generally inaccessible.
This is one of the things that has made Hawken lose it's flavor.
New players wonder... How can I get there_ and get frustrated when they find blue walls and invisible barriers.
The elitists have killed the game and have made one for themselves not the masses.
Even then only a small number of them remain as they have eroded the playerbase by their corrosive input {even if it was with initial good intentions}.

Nope. They'll be patched out.

Just like all the blue walls and invisibarriers that are killing interest in the game.

Many players want this vertical element to Hawken.
Anything revealed by events such as this has illustrated, become patched out as a result. As a long term result of this, we are losing players from the game and not growing the game at all.

Really they should be working on VOIP and attracting/retainin Hawken players.
There has been no deadline released to the community of the next patch and there is no hype building towards anything in the future. The game is faltering.

I'm not the only one that sees the writing on the wall.
I'm just more vocal about it.

I'm all for a contest that helps eliminate those dumb map exploits that people like to climb up on and snipe uselessly from. You know what kills a game for a team_ When one of their teammates isn't contributing because they're spending time climbing the environment so they can do a sub-par job at sniping.

You may be vocal, but you're blowing a lot of hot air by throwing out phrases that imply "the masses" share your opinion. Care to prove that_ Care to share any evidence besides a few scattered forum posts here and there_ Can you actually show any causation between an event like this and people leaving the game_

Quit spewing propaganda and provide facts. Otherwise quit trying to present your opinion as fact, and that it's somehow a popular opinion.

Also Spliff, Easter Eggs are intentional. Stop calling map exploits Easter Eggs.
