I think it would be a nice idea for making something like this for players to get for free or even to purchase. It's got a couple mentions on /r/hawken and i thought it was cool so i posted it here. It could be like a reward for all the players that have stuck around all this time or to celebrate the ownership. It was just a quick thought anyway.

Also, I was in a few of the matches with Capnjosh while he was live steaming on Twich.  I think all the players that were there should be a free Capnjosh bobble head for their cockpit!

I would like a "new ownership" skin best if it was absolutely outrageous and something that stood out from a mile away.  Maybe a glowing bright pink (anti-)camo?  =)

Thats literally one of the easiest things they could do and they've already said that they want to do stuff like this.  Great way to create a bit of buzz and engadge with the community.

i 100% think so. some one else made a topic on this. with a new mech just for it. i added to that they make a new mech AND a paintjob for it. skin will just be for ppl that was around when they came out again Hawken 2.0. but the mech will stay

I'd rock a hughes skin, to be sure.  What would the special skin(s) even be?  I'll be happy with them as long as the colors are coordinated as well as the alpha and beta camos; I envy those who have them more for the nice color combos than the proof of having 'been there'.

 

Can't wait for special events to come back either; I always had really light work weeks during the times they were available and all I have is my snowflake gift wrap ):

Even just an exclusive icon would be nice enough. I know personally I kinda abandoned the game, but give legacy accounts some sort of sign of "We stuck through the issues thick and thin" would just be at least a nice little show of appreciation
