No flags at all then please. I'm absolutely for in-game faction flags but that would be in poor taste and against Hawken guidelines.

is in the mouth of the taster.  i can see your point, however ReLoaded's release of the LGBT Rainbow Crosses skin makes the whole subject moot. And a LOT of people bought that camo, for real money. i did as well.

what about it is "lgbt"? am i missing something, cause rainbows existed well before homosexuals.

i would have bought it, too, since i like colors and rainbows, but the violet is too dark, almost black.

 

also for some countries like germany, you can just give the parts of your mech the plain "clr" camos. but then again that only works for "3 horizontal stripes" flags.

I would love a rainbow camo. Unfortunately they released a rasta camo, not a rainbow one.

I think of it as more of an Olympic type venue, where people are proud to represent their respective countries without raising the issues of political differences.

A little flag patch on the side of a player's mech would suffice and not cause any resentment between people....

and I think it would be cool to know where other players are from when in a match.

 

Then again, some might not look at it the same as I do...still think it's a nice idea.

but in all seriousness I am probably one of the last people here who would genuinely have a viewpoint that ill-informed and jingoistic. This suggestion is mostly just because I like making all of my mechs look as amusing as possible and bothering people who care way too much about immersion.

But srsly though. How many of the suggestions will become real in near future?
What's actually the point of a suggestions thread if everyone agrees on it but the devs don't have the labour resource atm to do... Well... ANYTHING.

Every suggestion that is made now will be more or less forgotten until we have a decent dev team that is capable of releasing an update/patch a month. And not just bug fixes, I am talking about new content.

Apparently Josh plans on implementing one of mine I made outside of this section to give new players an introduction to spending MC on cosmetics, so presumably they at least occasionally listen. I remember ADH added a mobile login page forever ago a little while after I suggested it too. I think the issue is that a lot of people don't consider how many resources and how much time goes into something like a mech or map or w/e, so suggestions like I usually make (aside from the half-serious ones like making holotaunts do damage or this thread) which are tiny improvements that don't require much effort tend to get more attention.
