Hello everyone,
I am OmegaNull. I originally was an Alpha Player. However, thanks to life I forgot about this game. Then, sometime around december (12/12/12) I heard the rumbles of Hawken and the excitement that I had in Alpha came rushing back. Around Feb (again, thanks to life) I finally came back to what has now been the most fuzzy bunnyng awesome game on the face of this planet! I remember playing around for a little while and accidently stumbling upon a BSB FightClub, then joined up with BSB. Now, going on over 2 years later still here.
During TPG, I was a member of the Vendetta Squad with Inci, Elite Shooter, Etho, bkcat, ShadowGTR, and some others. Around the same time I was (and still am) a member of Violent Resolution.
Though, I must say that I am ashamed because about 2 months back Hawken saddened me and I stopped playing. Then, the rumbles were about, Hawken revived! Occasionally, I do stream, but usually too busy playing the game and contrary to what many say, I do play other mechs. Though my baby is still my Scout and will always scoot. Others that I main are Brawler and Raider. Mainly burst mechs.
Anyways, glad to be back and it is truly wonderful to say so many familiar and even forgotten faces coming back! The reason why this game has such a specially place in my heart is thanks to the community, the people, friendships and all the other fun stuff that goes along with it!
See you around!
P.S. Saturnine, now that you have a new computer you should be Brawler King again!

I am BuffMyRadius. I have been around since Alpha 1, generally being a nuisance to my team members with my low skill.
I have a few friends, many here in St. Louis, Missouri that play on occasion. They are pretty chatty in game but I type in Dvorak so I don't say much unless I deem it worth the horrific inefficiency of qwerty typing.
If you encounter me in game I'm a pretty strong force multiplier in a death blob, but generally useless out on my own so stick together and don't run all light mechs!

I have been gaming ever since I can remember. My first fps games were Doom and Wolfenstien 3d. I have played dozens(hundreds?) of games and not just fps. I was part of a top 500 guild in Guild Wars that shared my character's name "Kite me Some Slack" [RuN] when the game was still competitive. I was apart of arguably the best team on COD4: Modern Warfare in the Team Warfare League (Executive Outcomes as -eXo|Bonzai). I played Hawken during the first 3 months of open beta and returned in December 2014 and have been playing since. Look forward to seeing you on the battlefield and talking with you on teamspeak.

Hello to any who remember me. Old fart is in the house. :p I came in summer/fall of 2012 and loved it. I am really glad to see so many people I remember from then. (Saturnine, Comic Sans, SS396, Omega Null and so many others) I stopped playing pretty much last spring. Then I recently saw about this coming back and hit up their FB page and posted, downloaded it and started playing again. Nice to see someone pick up this game and hopefully fix it up nice. :) Nice to have fun again. I have been gaming online since 1994 and have now been in 49 beta's. I've been in computers for 44 years now. Yes I really am 61 and still game. I may be old, I ain't ded! Still love gaming and do it many hours a day. I'm retired now as I'm disabled. I have severe COPD and on oxygen 24/7 now. LOL I actually play with a O2 hose sticking up my nose! Nice to see all of my friends and even the new people too. Hope to see you in game. Take care and oh yeah Old fart is in the house!!
**EDIT** UPDATE** Thought I'd add some pics of my system for my friends. I designed, built and installed it. It is one of the hundreds of custom systems I have built over the years for myself and customers. This one is called DeepThought 4. Some pics of me and some other stuff as well. Thnx and enjoy.
Picture of my entire system.
Picture of controls, monitor, tablet, speakers, etc.
Picture of just the computer tower.
OK this is a pic of me! (feel free to use it to scare off rats in your attic, :p)
Pic of me in military. (yes I look really young, grin) Award from Mayor of Indianapolis, Certificate from Seti & Certificate from the
last place I studied the martial arts. I was 54 at the time. :)
A pic of a very old work mug I still have.
A couple of old work patches I still have. Glued em to my desk so I wouldn't lose me. Google CRAY if you don't know. :)

Eh, might as well do an introduction even though I didn't when I first came in to the Hawken community.
Hey there, everybody! Zdragow here. I go by many names and am called them on a regular basis: Zach, Zera, Iceloli, Icebird, Fish, Eyebrows. Take your pick.
I found out about Hawken a while back, found it the most amazing thing ever, and started playing literally days before the Ascension update. I have stuck with this game ever since, even if only occasionally playing during the downward decline period of the old devs.
I love the colors pink and green and love to decorate things as eye-repelling as possible.
I also was one who participated in the TPG tournament and fought within the ranks of the Vendetta Squad, led by our glorious leader, Eliteshooter. He likes cats.
Now that Hawken has officially made a return I shall be much more active. Especially if it means I get to blow you lot up with my dual grenade-launchers of fury.
That's the sound of artillery, baby.
Boom. Boom.

Hey guys! It's been a while.
I haven't really been in Hawken for a while. I left during the first great downtime, and Ascension didn't feel right to me. Been playing Warframe ever since.
I was with Hawken from the beginning. Was present in all of the closed betas, and the only reason I wasn't in the alpha was due to computer issues. Even if I don't get back into the game, I an VERY happy to see it coming back. I honestly didn't think this would ever happen!

Hi all, not new here but, my profile claims I am. Been here since closed beta but, I don't play that much these days and hardly at all since the game migrated to Steam. Was happy not to have to log into Steam just to play a game and have it running in the background all the time.
Among other things, my friends list is empty, my avatar is gone, my signature, my posts & topics (only one or two). What did you do, delete everything and start fresh?
Anyway, hope this new adventure amounts to something more than it was.

Forever lurking, not so much posting, but I've been in the game and floated around the forums since open beta.
I don't play nearly as often as I used to but I would regularly prowl the web for information on what was happening and made r/Hawken one of my regular visits.
With the new interest in the game, I definitely have been playing more and I love to see this resurrection take place.
If you ever want to play with a tier 2 pilot, hit me up!
See you guys in-game, here, and IRC.

HELLO!
My gamer name's Tyzlous, and i've gone by many other names, although
none are relevant for today.
I am from Sweden, and i found this game just before Christmas 2014.
I played it for awhile, became addicted, but lost my computer
for awhile afterwards, and that worked as rehab to some point...
I've been keeping an eye out for Hawken since, and when i saw on steam
that this is going on, i thought i'd stop by and say hello.

In my (relatively) brief contact with this game, I've had some crazy fun, and the forums have been an integral part of that. It's good to have things back online, and I'll catch y'all on the battlefield! GL;HF

InkaLord reporting for duty.
I use a Sharpshooter and, when I'm not tired, I think I'm a fairly competent sniper.
When I realize I'm too sleepy for all that good sniper stuff... I'll grab any mech (I own every mech but the G2s) and fuzzy bunny up my K/D ratio.
I play TDM only!
I've been around HAWKEN a couple of years now (maybe more).
I'm from Peru but I play on US East servers (I don't lag, I swear) with a marvelous 100-120 ping... which makes sniping a lot harder... which is also why I don't 1 vs 1 anyone unless I'm drunk.
I'm a professional game designer and a full-time dad.
I have 2 siberian huskies and 3 cats... Both my dogs warm my feet when I play and the cats provide enough fishy smell around the house to keep me awake.
...aaaaaand that's it! See you all on the battlefield!

Welp, I'm sabrehawk90. Actually, I'd sorta like a stable system of name changes to roll around, since I use a different username more often nowadays.
Anyways, I was one of those people who got introduced to HAWKEN shortly after it got migrated to Steam. Got hooked as soon as I decided to install and give the f2p game a shot. Played for a couple months, then left the game for a while being distracted by other things. I guess I was just in time to skip the 'great silence' when I joined back into the community. Wouldn't call myself a good player (depends on the standards these days), but I suppose I'm adequate. Haha, I sorta feel inferior to all these Closed Alpha and Beta veterans.
Frequent Pilot of A-Class mechs, Berserker main. 'Tis my first mech (technically), 'tis my best mech. Heh, I still remember my first days when I just played the Berserker test trial instead of Fred until I had enough HC to actually get the thing itself. Poor CR-T Recruit sat at Rank 1 for a long time.
Hopefully, I'll be sticking around longer than last time. Well, guess I'll see you guys on the battlefield then.

Heyo, names Garuda!
Been around ever since those nasty sadistic teasers for Hawken and when the game came out... it became THE definition of procrastination to my college life.
Personally I just enjoy playing games and giant robots (chicks dig giant robots right?).
Used to be in a clan called BSB, but don't remember much apart from joining random pubs and occasionally being a reserve sub for the C-class bench for a tournament.
Funny enough, I notice names in occasional matches here and there... and i can't help but say hello!
If ya'll remember me, holler so I can restore my friend list. It sort of imploded... Signing off!

My callsign is Houruck and I am a HAWKEN veteran from Hungary, Central Europe. I instantly fell in love with it the first time I saw a trailer and enlisted for closed alpha right after. I used to be a high MMR player (ranked 30th in the top 100 list made by the first ninja, Ashfire908) but I am quite rusty nowadays. I was a top commenter on the forums and submitted countless bug reports. Got selected into HAB [HAWKEN Advanced Battalion] and got [DATA REDACTED].
"in the next patch can we please nerf Houruck?"
/[HWK]Brownie/
Being the only Hungarian playing the game for a long while I started the HAWKEN.HU fansite (now offline) to promote the game and translate valuable information. I helped out the clan [Arrows of Hungarians] that formed around it in various ways (I still host a TeamSpeak server for them).
Community Landmark Challenge
Budapest, Hungary
In 2012 I joined BSB [Black Steel Brotherhood], which later became the biggest HAWKEN clan (we had over 300 members). Here I had the honour to be clan mates with such HAWKENITES as DER3Z, Saturnine and Ashfire908 and meet other awesome people from the passionate community I am still friends with today. Shorty after I became the leader of its European Division.
"Houruck is just some sort of Rocket-propelled-murder-machine"
/DaPheel/
Together with my friends we built a human sized CR-T mech with a working computer inside it (that can play the game or promotional videos) and did a Laila cosplay photo shoot and presented both at a Hungarian gaming convention called PlayIT. HotDog the leader of the German BV clan [Blue Vengeance] got us (BSB-EU, BV and the Russian speaking Vodka People) involved in the gamescom event where we played with the attendees and game journalists and had the chance to be the first to try out the Ascension patch.
Fred is alive!
Following Saturnine's footsteps I answered the community's call for biweekly European events so I launched the EU Fight Club series. I livestreamed the duels, fan made metagames and self financed tournaments. I have shipped hard cover HAWKEN Genesis comic books and other merchandise and prizes all over the continent to our winners and followers.
Awesome artwork made by erathic
I became a regular host on the EMP podcast [European Mech Pilots] with my own segment where I showcased fan art and other community made content. I established good relations with other prominent members of the player base and encouraged and ulitised artists and other talented fans. My goal was to be a bridge between the EU community and the developers.
"Final Siege Boss"
/ReachH/
Later we founded our own European clan called CA [Critical Assist] from the merger of old timer BSB-EU and OWL [Old World Lancers]. Besides our weekly trainings we always aimed to be as open to the public as possible so we shared our private server with everyone. I am proud that we managed to get a lot of dedicated players join our ranks.

Hi, I'm TronX33 I should be around level 28, but before Reloaded Games took over, there was a level glitch, and I don't know if it was fixed. I am really happy that Hawken is back again, I only just checked today. I have been playing since January of 2014. It was the long hiatus that made me stop playing until about December, and that was off and on. I can't wait to see what you guys can do, and I hope that Hawken will be the great game it once was.

Just got into Hawken about two months back. Was pretty bummed when I heard about the previous dev's 'disappearance' from the game. Then, a few weeks later the game was revived. So I guess I came into it right at the perfect time.. Needless to say, this is my favorite game right now. Something about it separates it from a lot of games out there..
I've been playing games for 14+ years, I started playing games at the age of 4, and now I'm 18.. Now with that not being anything too impressive. Basically since the age of 4, gaming was pretty much my life and always has been. I had quite a bit of consoles throughout my life and childhood, and finally when the next gen consoles came out in late 2013, I moved to something that I thought I'd enjoy and always thought about doing for quite awhile at the time and that was PC games.. and so I did. I got caught up in Quake 3 Arena and a couple of others, and I've never looked back since.
I'm definitely looking forward to playing with you guys! This community is something unlike any other, and I'm super stoked for the future of this game.

Alpha Test player. Top poster on the old forums (without even spamming nonsense in Off Topic). Top-"Liked" member, despite having half the community perpetually pissed off at me. 2000-something-in-the-hundreds MMR player (though likely much worse now). ex-Hawken Hero.
For anybody new to the community, a heads up: I'm nitpicky and I've got a personality disorder that makes me absolutely atrocious at handling other peoples feelings. I'm probably not actually being mean to you. I'm not acting this way just because it's the internet. I just have an underdeveloped sense of empathy.

Been awhile
Started the first day of open beta, quit right after the technician patch. I've been checking in every couple weeks since then in case the game changed for the better, and the game being bought out by a diff group is the best news I've seen so far.
Should tell you something about what I think of the game's old direction xD (Not to be a jerk, but I think we all know that Hawken could've been handled MUCH better)
Excited to see new people in charge, going to log in and throw some money at you to support the cause. I'd love to see this game get some traction.

Hi, from South-America!
I really love mechs since the Grendizer and Mazzinger Z (Yes, I'm not a teenager anymore). I'm always looking foward to play mech-oriented games, and that's how I got here.
I left for a while when my PC could not handle the graphics of my mech (Predator), and the freezes and high ping made me just mad...
Now I have a new brand PC and can handle being in the shadows. Still high ping, because I'm in the frozen bottom of the earth (and yes, I know there is not enough player base to afford new servers)
... but still, I will be around. I'm not much of a forum person, I read a lot, but not post too much... just like in the game, I will be in a dark corner, waiting for you people to start repairing your mech ^_^
