My name is Brandon. Designation: Armymonger.
I am a simple artist from deviant art who has played hawken before adhesives final breath of life.
I then left when it died And started up the old raider with the intro of a new company. Reloaded.
I. Freaking. Suck.
One year out of the mech seat has left my buttocks fat and flabby. I barely fit. Can barely drive.
Yet somehow can still fly.
I like mechs. That's...kinda why we are all here. I like Tanks more, I enjoy guns,
And above all, I like to draw.My personality has been described by me as logical, wierd, and not really phased by anything wierd or stupid. I like to swear. In moderation.
I don't like stupid people. Or arrogant people. I don't think anyone does.
But above all...
I don't like to talk about myself.
SO STOP READING THIS.

Paradox23 reporting in, although you can also call me Parastrat (short for Paradoxical Stratagem) because that's my steam name that I go by. Let me just get it out of the way: I may be experienced with this game, having followed it since it first appeared on Steam, but I am by no means professional. I have an abysmal K/D ratio of 0.21, and am struggling to keep my win percentage at 40% as a Level 25 pilot. Because of how the game handles assists, I have a very disproportionate amount of assists in contrast to my kills, and plenty of deaths to spare. I can attribute my horrible statistics to the fact that I used to play this game on an old rig that processed so badly, that it wouldn't even load the Last Eco map. Nowadays I seem to be getting slightly better with a newer machine, as I'm starting to get more kills than usual (and by that I mean an average of anywhere between 2-5 instead of 0-1), and I just recently finished Team Bot Destruction, although it was mainly in part due to one of my teammates finding an ideal sniping position while the rest of us held up at a corner with a wall and spammed bullets while throwing rockets at the clusterluck of enemies we bottlenecked until we blew up and died.
I'll have more to say later, but for now I think that's enough to process.

Hello all!
My name is InfernoSniper or more commonly known as InfernoGamer007. My irl friend Bacon0verlord has been obsessed with this game for a while so I decided I'd play this game myself. Hawken will be my first experience into the FPS genre of gaming. So please just facepalm if I do something horrendously stupid (A recommendation would be nice too I guess).
I am very excited into meeting the Hawken community and the long hours online.
Thank you for your time,
Inferno
P.S. my pic is chives because that's all I have on this cpu will change it later

Hi all, I'm Neraste, from Europe. I've discovered Hawken somewhere in April/May 2014, and keep playing and having tons of fun ever since. I'm not a wonderful pilot, however, and I often go kamikaze or fall easily in stupid traps... Still learning to fight right, though! Strong preference for Heavies, and Lights some times.
I try to be active in Arts and Media subforum; currently working on a manga taking place in Hawken's universe.
Member of French speaking community Les Mordus d'Hawken and Hawken LGBTQ* community as well; I don't think I want to join a competitive clan or something, however.
See you on the battlefield, gals and guys! Take care.

Hey Pilots!
Name's Vilyria, shortly "Vily". I have been playing Hawken for quite a while but it surely doesn't appear on my skills. I took part on alpha and closed beta but I didn't get into playing the game as a routine cause i had such a bad pc. Later on I joined a clan called TAW; that doesn't exist anymore from Hawken's side but I got to know some of the fantastic people and played on weekly phase.
Now I'm part of the KDR clan where some of my former TAW friends still remain and I'm happy about it.
I play Hawken mostly cause of my love for robots. I have loved all kinds of robots since I was little; (Transformers, Armored core, Steel battalion...)
As a player of this game, I'm not very valuable, I mostly play Rocketteer cause it's something I have always played, Yes, ALWAYS played. I know I'd prob need to learn some of the other mechs but maybe now in the clan I get to learn tricks and tips to actually getting into those other machines.
On side of Hawken I play Arma 3 (Epoch mostly), Garry's mod and League of legends. While I'm not gaming I usually spend time on photoshop or my drawing table, doodling whatever comes on my mind. I'm a lover of arts and music and love talking about both of those.
Would be nice to get to know more of you peeps! :)

Welcome back to Hawken Vilyria! I wasn't here in alpha, I came in closed beta. But I do remember you after you mentioned the Rocketeer! (you used to make me nuts in that thing.) LOL, I don't know if you remember me but I've always been the oldest player in Hawken. I played the Bruiser a lot then or the Sharpshooter, well the FRED first of course like everyone, hehe. I'm 61 yrs old now and still playing! I still holler in game "Old fart is in the house". I've really enjoying seeing so many of the old players come back. Sniff, sniff I've missed you guys. Good luck and take care! See you in game mate!

Hey, i'm Daralome,
I live in Canada and am currently studying in Computer Science Technology.
I've been playing for ~18months, and Hawken is my favorite game.
I way very sad that there were no devs for a while and the game seemed to be dying slowly, but kept playing anyways.
I'm not the best player I know of, but I can usually pull my weight and i've fought alongside and against a lot of the veterans the game knows well.
While i'm never planning on being more than an intense casual gamer, I really do look forward to this game growing and putting out awesome new content.
My favorite mech is the Infiltrator.
Good luck ladytiggs and capnjosh!

Hi. What else should I say in here?
Definitely a good start.
Hello and Welcome!
I remember seeing you in some matches today.. gonna have to keep an eye on you. You're only at Pilot level 10 with a 1700+ mmr, and a K/D ratio of about 6:1. that's pretty damn good in my book!
Didn't you also have a predator? I don't see it on your herokuapp profile

I'm Volgraza and I have been following / playing Hawken for about a year or so. Since New life has been breathed back into the game I have added Hawken to my video line up on my youtube channel. When I was 5 years old I saw a show called RoboTech and fell in love with the Mech Genre, as well as Animation in general. My Hope for Hawken is that it Flourish to the point where it is added to the MLG line up. It has the potential to be Great No matter what so I'm very excited about the Future of the game.

Helloooooooo everybody!
I'm Veklim, I started playing Hawken a looong time ago, not long after it's initial launch, but stopped some time in October last year when it became apparent the game had been shelved indefinitely and player numbers dropped off significantly. I was rather upset when this happened, since Hawken has long been one of my very favourite FTP games. Ever.
I'm a tech pilot by preference, but have been known to rock a few medium and heavy models too, when it's either appropriate or just fun (gotta love some Cupcake action from time to time!).
I am so utterly hyped about the recent re-opening of support and wish to send my sincerest gratitude to those who have worked so hard to resurrect this beautifully simple yet endlessly complex team game.
Suit up pilots, and watch yer back, Veklim's TechNinja is back in the game, OORAH!
Vek.
All I ask is a tall ship, and a star to steer her by.

Hey guys,
I was ASU-74 and now am ZeroDamagePen. Used to play this a lot and sucked at it a lot, until Adhesive kicked the can and the massive player count drop a few months back caused me to quit and explore the toxic waters of MOBAs. When I read on a gaming site that someone resurrected Hawken, I decided to give it another shot and damn, I have no regrets.
I mostly drive my Assault (nicknamed Impact) and Reaper (Scalpel), but the CR-T (Easy Bake) gets its dose of action on Bazaar and Last Eco. I have a Brawler (Iron Lady) but it rarely lives up to its namesake and I just get whacked all day, all night, all the time when I drive it. I've been getting a lot better, but still not particularly good so I've got a lot of work cut out for me. At least I live up to my namesake...
Kudos to the new and old developers. This is one hell of a game with one hell of an involved dev team.

I come from ArenaFPS, as well as other FPS games including Quake 1,2,3 and 4, Quakelive, Q3 CPMA, Reflex. Have been playing video games since the 80s when my dad brought home an Atari 400 and I ruled games like Centipede and PacMan. Have played mostly all NES titles, as well as many many Sega titles. Have focused mainly on PC Gaming for the last 10 or so years.

i have played over 30 hours of hawken in the last week (send help). as a result of playing so much without a lot of experience my mmr kind of blows, but it has got a bit better. i've just really enjoyed the game lol. i've played quite a few FPS and some mech games. this game is really fun for its fast-paced game play; usually when i think of mechs they tend to be on the slow side. i hope this game continues to garner support and gain players. i think it has plenty of potential.
i guess i'll see you in game

Hi 2 all. I am gArphEus. Yes - i'm addicted 2 HAWKEN since 9/14, yes - i desperately try 2 keep my hands off it, and yes - it's going 2 ruin the rest of my life. Lol.
About me: i made it 44 times around the sun of Illal by now, married since '93, have 3 childs (all adult now) and played since the very 1st videogames have been depeloped at the beginning of the 80s. My 1st console was an ATARI 2600 (1st model). Then i bought homecomputers like C-64, Amiga, other consoles, etc. I own PCs since '95, and kept using 'em 4 working just as well as 4 gaming by now. Played hundreds of games, dozens of FPSs, especially tactical shooters, and almost every part of Mechwarrior, but i always wanted a faster paced Mech-game. Couldn't find any decent 1s, though, until i stepped in2 an advertisement at STEAM last year... Was so amazed by it, i couldn't believe i neva heard about it b4, so i downloaded and installed it immediately. Bad mistake! - now i am hopelessly addicted 2 it, and there's no end in sight. Played it 750 hours by now, own all mechs, some of them twice or even triple, and i main the Predator, just because it's so insanely hard, so totally different and so absolute thrilling 2 pilot it. And - of course - because of the Breacher's sound:
"KRAAA-CHINK!!! - BASH !!! - KAAA-BOOOOM !!!"
Big respect 2 all the other madmen maining it. ;)
U usually don't c me on the battlefield - ... - just because i'm roaming it cloaked in 1 of my Predators (muahaha...), and if u c me finally, it's often ur last moment on the field until respawn. Mine too, sometimes (on some dayz that happens far too often, hahahaha). If i don't sneak around invisble, u can spot me throwing shields or blockades on2 repairing mates, and even guarding them until they r ready 2 go again - leaving 1 of us behind unprotected means offering the NME stealthers and snipers a free kill, isn't that so? I also like 2 kite almost dead mates out of the worst deathballs on my green healing beam, when playing the Tech, even when that's close 2 the border of Kamikaze. But if i wouldn't at least try 2 help my mates, what's my own life worth, then? U also can recognize me easily complaining about the catastrophic imbalancing and the fatal decisions we had 2 suffer of by the screwy matchmaker.
I like:
- meeting so many cool dudes daily
- good teamplay
- prematch tactical briefing
- players respecting each other
- teaching and succouring noobs
- players joking around, even while loosing
- nice guys sitting out, when teams r imbalanced
- individually skinned mechs
- the fantastic artwork of HAWKEN
I dislike:
- guys that spam taunts like AC shots
- arrogant winners
- smurfs deathballs stomping noobs endlessly
- cheaters
I wish:
- the matchmaker 2 b fixed so badly. Please CpnJosh - fix it 4 HAWKEN's sake, or at least deny access 2 smurfing high tier pilots on some servers. Too many noobs get stomped in EU over and over again every day, until they ragequit. That scares away a lot 4 sure...
- the EOC Repeater 2 have a slightly higher projectile speed and reload time, or maximal mine damage asap - almost every1 in the forum voted 4 that in the meantime, after u asked us 4 our opinions...
- HAWKEN merchandising! Want my Predator figurine guarding my PC! I want a HAWKEN badge on my black beret! I want a HAWKEN poster on the wall above my monitors!
- HAWKEN 2 support multi-monitoring like AMD Eyefinity! Would b sooo nice 2 play it in cinematic aspect ratio! Pleeaase!!!
- the game 2 last 4ever! HAWKEN rules! So mote it be! Praise the Devs!!!
If you play on EU servers there's chance 2 meet me, 'cause i play almost daily a few hours. If u like, just add me, and we'll play 2gether. Cya there, dude.
gArphEus signing off.
P.S. : Regards 2 all my dudes!!! Thx 4 all the endless hours of fun with u! Big times!

I've been gaming a bit too, in the meanwhile, a heavy Civ addict, played my Gunship, And lost months it seems, in the otherworldly, Ultima 7!
Left the PC fold for a time, tired of compatibility and driver issues, and jumped on the console PS bandwagon for a bit, and enjoyed it! A friend brought be back into the PC fold, mainly because of Steam and SSDs. In my several decades of gaming experience , I think you'd agree that we've seen games become very shallow, or unpolished... Not graphically, or in production terms. I am speaking of shoddy AI, clumsy User Interfaces, weak attention to story. Some of the prettiest shooters have become little more than interactive movies. I was getting bored.
Then, inside the pages of a PC gamer, I see this odd looking mech, kindof a square, boxy one. Looked cute, kinda silly, but realistic too. Fred. So I stumbled into the rollercoaster ride that is Hawken. Half adrenaline rush, have cerebral workout, I had to get out of my lazy, Call of Duty stupor, and brush up on the attentiveness, and alertness that my Tom Clancy Ghost Recon days taught me... Just don't get killed. Well, in Hawken, you get killed. But the consequences of a sloppy or stupid move cause as much friction, as a sniper forgetting to silence his rifle near a fully-armed compound!
Glad you're enjoying the ride, and good to see a fellow gamer, with a background that I KNOW we both can really appreciate the quality of this game, and I agree with your sentiments! Good gaming!

Good to have ya on board, gArphEus! WOW! Thx 4 ur welcome, dude. A big YEAAH! 2 all this! Nice 2 have other gaming veterans like u around. U know, It's only us dinosaurs, that someday will be left 2 sit on the campfire and tell our youngest 1s our stories about the fantastic voyages we did, over the billions of maps we crossed, over the millions of worlds we've seen, and the hundred-thousands sorts of foes we fought, after the lights went out, and only the imagination in the mind of our audience can divine the fun we had in the time of our virtual lifes. It's very likely, that some of them won't believe what we swear 2 have seen, but... ...we know, we were there... ...and in the the end, it's only the fun we can pass on 2 others that counts then... not sure if anyone reads intros anymore.
I'm player Red_Mist in game.
I wanted to say thank you to the majority of hawken community for welcoming the average player like myself.
Most Veterans are very nice and its an honor to do battle with you guys. Top players like Hest, Jeff, and Bomberman may not have much to say to new blood, but allowing me to play along side them is a real treat and I hope some of their talent may rub off on me.
I wanted to give an extra special thanks to Comic_Sans for taking the time to record my flaws and give me some pointers. SkullDiggery for playing multiple rounds with me even tho that sweet sweet "onceakill" only comes around in a few. Thanks to Merl for streaming his talent and answering any questions fans may have. Thank you to Dew who basically told me He didnt know me and didnt care. I remember him helping me over a year ago tho and I get it. Being acknowledged is the first step to becoming part of the community and I know he meant better. It really means alot to me and I can only hope to be at your level of play someday.
Hawken has been enjoyable for me the past month or so of continuous play. and I hope to get to do alot more. I am at awe by the steap learning curve of this game and cant wait to hone my abilities to the best they can be. Perhaps I will never reach that elite status, but getting that chance to put the hurt on such a talented bunch is worth 30 deaths that come before it.
I'm reaching 34 years old, and my reflexes are definately not what they were at 18 but I can still hold my own on supermario world! Wether Hawken has new life breathed into it, or it dies a slow death, it will have a place in my heart much as alot of the oldschool games I have played before it.
thanks for such a great game, a great community and a great escape at the end of a hard days work.
Keep on Hawkin, I will see you on the battlefield!

I tend to float from game to game but some classics like UO have kept my attention for years. I tend to enjoy deep games with complex systems and mechanics.
After being extremely dissapointed with the recent trend in AAA titles that are either the 47th iteration in a series or willing to take my money and make me a beta tester I decided to reload hawken.
Im pleased to find that hawken still has a passionate fanbase and that its just as difficult to excel as I remember. I enjoy the challenge and look forward to bettering myself on the field of battle with you all.
