Ladies and mentelgen, as always, a thank you to anyone who joined us yesterday. There were scrims. There was CARNAGE. THERE WAS MICHAEL BAAAAYYYYY!!!! 

 

I would also especially like to thank those who came in for their first Ultra-Violent. Good to meet you, I hope you enjoyed your stay :). Please do join us again next week. I'd also like to say that, if you're in any way confused about the timezones you can find a count-down to the start of the next event in the OP. You're always welcome to come early and stay a while after, there are usually still some pubs games going on.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!

 

 

 

You may or may not have noticed over the past 5 days or so that, sitting quietly, waiting in the EU region, there have been some very special private servers.

 

 

 

I'm proud to present: UltraViolent-Wed-1 and UltraViolent-Wed-2!

 

This is where we'll be doing the scrimming part of the event. That means that the pre-actual-after system is going into use starting this Wednesday. Also, this allows us to do some great gamemodes like: MICHAEL BAAAAYYYYY, Call of Hawken, reaper vs tech, convoy, Night of the living FRED, DEDRace, Scrimmages and many more! 

 

We'll still be hosting the Pre- and After-Party on the Critical-Assist server, because of timelimit reasons. Also, they are awesome.

 

If you have any questions feel free to ask Batpanda or I, your lovely admin and host.

A friend of mine started to play yesterday and his mmr is around 1200 will he be able to join the madness?
He thought ultra violent sounded fun even if players are way better than him.

Hmmm, propably yes, if we cheese the mmr systhem correctly. I've got a smurf that should bridge the gap between him and the mid-mmr players. Should be fine as long as rozer smurfs too.

 

For those who do not know, and this is what I have been told, is that you can join in a servers with an MMR average on about 300 more or less than your own. So we might be able to build up from 1200 well enough, taking the right steps.

 

Also I'm sure he'll be somewhere around 1300-1400 by Wednesday, if he plays enough ;).

jumped in about 1900 EDT last week (2300 GMT), and between EU and the NA War Wednesday crew, I had about 5 hours straight of merriment.

and only lost about 4 mmr for the night (pretty good considering the dead soldier body-count in the trash can).

I'm afraid I won't be there this Wednesday, I'm in vacation and away from decent computer (eeeeeepc, the game can run but is extremely laggy, mmr should be 255). This makes me sad, but well, it's so.

thank you ro all of you that helped me with the new game mode, any feedback you have on how to make ATTACK ON TITAN  even better please post some ideas to me. thus far we have learned that , 2 titans are better than 1

the match consists of the full tdm round and the winner is judged by kills the titan gets against kills of the other team (given that when the titan has died they are essentially 6 v 1) 

a three titan match would consist of 1 a class 1 b class and 1 c class with health (TBC) of 6000 /8000/ 10000 respectively the match is 10 mins long (about 9 mins playable) once you have been de-titaned  your goal is survival! the winning team is those with the most kills (which is closer than you might think).

Ooooh yea that was fun. We played it for 30 min straight while testing it out. That's definitely something we're gonna do next week.

Also, keep in mind that this event is based on having fun. We got Shlemm (Browno's pal) in without much hassle (read: a massive amount of hassle, many smurfs) and he did just fine :). Make sure that you keep an eye on that countdown in the OP and arrive somewhere during the pre-party.
