It really feels like you over nerfed Grenadier

 

If you made adjustments based on Vulcan Gren, then you really broke the Rev Gren

Please consider removing the Vulcan from Gren and doing a balance pass on Hitscan vs Projectile

 

The Dodge cooldown and Dodge distance really contrasts harshly with the dodging on A and B class now

 

I'm Ok with smaller hitboxes OR longer dodge cooldowns, but both is too much

 

I don't understand the reasoning behind the Gren changes. It was already a very rarely used mech

 

It was so rare that It almost feels like you are targetting me personally (sort of kidding)....

i agree and I don't use it a lot myself, mechs right now are  unbalance the new mechs cant compete with the scout, infiltrator or beserker and C class got nerf the hardest from what I know the testers were all A/b class players and none really liked the C class mechs that prob lead to the unbalance to the classes but for now devs have bigger problems with bug and glitch fixing and go from their.

Turret mode is stupid and useless please just put the old ability back, and remove all turret modes just make them all timed abilities with cooldowns that do basically the same thing.

How to fix Grenadier:

 

#1. Revert Grenadier completely.  Give it back the bouncing RevGL.  Fix the refire rate.  Give it back GL.

#2. Replace turret mode with some useful, like the splash buff ability. The damage buff, honestly, isn't necessary but nice.

#3. To preserve the unique function of the explode-on-contact RevGL, give that version to Jobs and call it Rev-XT or something.

#4. Replace Vulcan with EOC-R.

 

Profit.

Can you imagine if zerker had to stop moving and go into turret mode to use its ability? Cause that's basically what they have done to mechs with turret mode, honestly if they want to keep it in so bad then make the turret mode as a separate thing that uses a different hotkey and then give them all normal F abilities at-least.

for once I agree with silver lol, I think they should remove turret mode from the game and give rocketeer and that 1 other turret mode mecha defence ability

Yeah, I agree with just about everything posted so far.

 

I used to actually be able to do decently against flak scouts

 

Their precision hitscan weapons contrasted well with my hard to aim, projectile weapons and were balanced by the AoE

Their speed and agility contrasted well with my  slowness and tanking ability as a balancer

 

I think it'd be a great philosophy to make as many mechs viable as possible

After playing a few more games, it really does feel like I'm being forced to play Hitscan A/B

 

I was never super Pro, but Gren was weird and good enough that it was fun

 

Now, I feel coerced, and I hate being coerced by my entertainment lol

I think gren and rocketeer need active abilities.

Turret can stay on brawler and van.
Id hate to see them with so much regen/defence and not get a movement nerf. May be situational, but many can compete in those without using turret.

Id also like to see a C with dual heat-xt etc and its ability doubles splash radius for a few sec while reducing its own self-damage. It could be good area denial.

I've tried the "new gren" in coop TDM. What's the point of that mech ? the dual nerfed rev GL / turret damage boost is not working on this mech (even worse than 36M), with new fuzzy bunny A-class speed and turn cap you can barely hit them.

 

I agree that the gren have to revert back to pre-howken version. About the Vulcan removal, why not replace it with a MAMA B3AR ? it would make sense.
