A 2.4k mmr player will usually get wrecked by a 2.6k (aka top 20) player, just wanted to point that out.

 

Also west for water? Wut? We drink whiskey out here. And beer, iff it's good beer, or you're in college.

 

Tech almost automatically gets best score on team, among plenty of other things that aren't well taken into account which indicate your overall skill/worth/value/etc. And for the past 100 points of MMR growth, i'm still well under the MMR of people i can easily stand up to 1v1- casually.

 

If the Hawken player base was much bigger, and if Hawken would stop decreasing my MMR when i get first place in the server but didn't get an insane score because i purposely played casually / with my weak mechs after seeing i could- then maybe MMR could start to become more trustworthy.

 

Also MMR is notably less accurate the higher it gets (less players, more quitting, worse MM, joining 1v1 servers, more sensetive validity [fair match can easily cascade to a wash when a valuable player has lag spikes], etc. etc. etc.).

Be proud! I take this as a player who isn't afraid of depleting MMR by practicing their weaker setups/strategies- you're easily better than most around that number!

There is no Asia bracket. You were the only person from that region to sign up. I put you in the NA bracket because of this. As per the rules of the tournament, you are allowed to play one match set in Asian servers and one in NA. Hope this helps.

Me and Elite just did our duels, without really any kind of planning - sorry for no time posting.

 

We agreed on AC allowed and Frontline AA.

Had to play on USE as no duel server is set up yet on EU - CA had people in it, and the pubs were all Bunker.

Hello okay I have fought with the Silverfire of the Honourable House Silverfire and now we have come to the score of conclusion which is 10-4, within the favour of mine.

lost to 32W 10-4, had a stupid 120 ping in the middle, didn't notice and it unfortunately affected my performance negatively but I won't be a sore loser. I concede my loss despite my random ping spike. 32W has epic aim and I don't :D

I only say that because it's nearly double my normal ping to Dallas servers. I normally get 60-70ish ping to Dallas, but for the past day or two it's gone upwards of 80-90 ping with spiking up to 120 ping. You're connecting from Asia, so getting 300 ping is expected to the US. 120 for me is unexpected especially considering I'm connecting within the US.
