Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I couldn't find a regular white paint in the shop. And not having a camo applied doesn't count, that's a grey-ish metal color. I mean a clean, actual white (like on a bunch of the elite camos, or the "key lime" C-class upper).
And forgive me if this has been brought up before. It's not that big of a deal, I just thought it was weird that this wasn't an option. Many might ask, "Why would you want a plain white camo?" but I'm sure plenty of folks would buy it (Especially to mix n' match with other camos & parts).
And... Yeah, this is mostly the OC graphic designer in me wanting my mechs to look fuzzy bunnyNG PERFECT.

Seconded. So far the only one with anything like it is the Elite Raider and Scout and the Scout looks pants-on-head with that stupid fabric flap on the front.
I would kill many bunnies for the chance to ball as hard as an Elite Raider while in a G2 Raider.

While you're at it, can we get colorable skins that aren't covered in rust, scratches, and scrapes? Please and thank you.

Well, there was another thread not long ago where someone suggested a "wear n tear" slider be added (protip: it should).

Hey, they gotta' start out shiny & chrome before they can get rusty, dusty, and dirty.
We should have the option to choose our preference.

Everyone is forgetting the main point of this thread. White paint. More importantly, white paint that looks like bacon.
We do need white paint that looks like bacon, that's what's important

I'm so glad someone already made this thread (so that I didnt have to). I've been wanting white paint forever and I felt that it was so important that I would make my first post on the Hawken forum about it. Adding white paint would be extremely easy for the dev's to add, it may not be a best seller but it's a basic color that the game has been missing. I absolutely would buy it if it came out.

Yes! and have the striping set so that the Upper has a set of BumbleBee racing stripes (optional on/off of course) instead of the random odd whydafukisitthere paint stripes.
Chrome Skins for the Elite levels. OMFG that would be awesome.
Yes to just about everything mentioned so far.

Next you'll want a chrome paint so your mech looks like a toaster.
What else do you think I use my Incinerator for!?

Use raider or infiltrator, they both have a white camo.
Yes, I know. And I do use both.
Not good enough. There is no excuse for not having a general white camo available to all mechs. I mean, it's not like I'm asking for plaid or something.

how about the reworking whole camo business model so that only patterns are sold?
like, 1 plain, 1 checkered, 1 "boom", 1 camouflage, etc., but with hue, saturation and brightness sliders (more than 1 set to allow for multicolored patterns)?
A problem might be other players will probably want to be refunded meteor credits for patterns they'd have bought multiples of (like multipe plain "clr"s).
Then again the game's still in beta, and as such, subject to change, so changes in economy system are to be expected.
I have a lot of ideas and would like some feedback on them:

white wants. i mean, it cant be that hard to create a 1x1 pixel white-ish texture. I could lend you my MS-Paint. (i am just silly, forgive) Many of us like to have a unique Mech but the possibilities are quite limited. Also: For some reasons the colored trim lines disappear from my mechs in the garage, until you switch em off and on again.
edit: the trim line thing happens only in the middle parts of my mechis.

What if we had the ability to make a custom paint? Like, have a purchaseable blank pain in the garage that we can customize and lock in? Like one where we can change the color of where the paint goes and what the untouched parts of the mech are colored.
A mech completely covered in penises.

Adding a white camo (and some other colors) could help with making mechs with special top chassis parts look better. For example, a heavy mech using the Brass Keylime upper chassis would look great with a white camo because most of of the Keylime upper chassis is painted white, so putting white on the arms, middle and lower sections would help to blend the upper section in with the rest of the mech (as opposed to the default worn metal appearance of having no camo).

This is exactly the reason I originally made this thread. Right now I'm settling for black to go with my Keylime, which looks pretty cool, but it also sort of looks like a panda (Complete with 'bamboo' green) (Which is still pretty cool) (But I need more white) (I need it) (!).
