Some sort of internal that removes the height cap on your flying mech, allowing you to climb to new heights.  4 Slot internal.  Run out of fuel and you fall farther, take more damage, or do more damage if you do a crushing thing.  Forces you to manage fuel a little more when flying because you could really screw yourself over if you fly too high and run out of fuel.  Due to increased stress on your engine flying exhaust thingies, your heat generation is slightly increased when you fly higher than the default height cap

 

Advanced Shock Coil: Adds AOE damage to fall impact when you fall from high enough, 2 slot internal.  OR increases crushing damage when you fall on people.  All this in addition to current Shock Coil, which already eliminates fall damage.

 

Divebomber Internal: allows you to drop out of the air faster using some fuel, either at an angle in front of you or directly downwards below you to inflict crushing damage on enemies, or to get out of the air a lot faster. 2 or 3 slot internal.

Melee is sorely needed.  When two mechs run into each other at boosting speeds and theres no damage, it breaks immersion.

in that case, i seriously (lmao) request the ability to make sinkholes/pitalls and tripwires, uses are obvious, make silverfire fall in a hole 2 deep to fly out of, and then get poop to trip into the same hole and crush each other to death (must introduce vertical collision friendly fire)

One of those should allow incins to initiate their ability mid-air as well.

Please add dive bomb function to adv shock coil internal that lets you drop out of the air and butt slam the ground/mechs below.

Modified fuel injector:

 

Allows to boost a short time (imagine it like a forward dodge) forward while mid-air.

Wouldn't be able to pair Air Compressor with the Height Cap removal internal because the Height cap removal internal would be 4 slots and AC is 3 slots

 

 

Or maybe let's have airplanes in this game?

 
Only trying to add variation to the air game which currently only has dodging and Air 180 which the first is useful and the second is gimmicky. Z-axis needs some love too.

Included in next patch: 3 new ways to make berzerkers extra annoying.




(For realsies tho, these are cool internals).
(Deployable, temporary jump pad would also be super rad).

Very interesting ideas, but wouldn't this make map-glitching more of a problem than it already has been? Devs would need to do a really careful pass to patch all holes in the maps before adding something like this, I think.

 

If they do that, though, I could definitely get behind something like this. I've said multiple times that the game needs more interesting internals that actively change gameplay.

guess I'm not allowed to make suggestions about something I think could diversify gameplay because god forbid we discuss that instead of what could be in a new patch

 

this is a game forum, no idea discussions allowed, sorry

the potential of air compressor booty collisions depends on it

 

 

maybe even have it not apply dmg unless your mech is moving at a certain mps

im just joking don't get me wrong.. it's just that i see these suggestions of all kind popup for years now and there's no reaction to them for years too and players discuss this stuff among them selves pretending as if there is someone listening taking notes pickin what to put in game the next week.

The most important is to have a community that stick with the game. "Suggestion" is a must have to keep people have faith.

BTW patches from time to time are still mandatory.
