It is actually time for whining!
Devs made/make hawken 3.0. i'm Ok.
But! Some thing is actually still broken and need to be fixed/added long time ago. so, this is my feedback what i want, and Why i want see this in game.
1) Gameplay tips/Game mechanics tips on Loading Screen. It is really needed to improve first player expirience. For my opinion, it is very important to do before you start making new maps.
2) New game mode - Domination. To say more easily, we have a "zone" which randomly moving around a map. team which stand in zone earn points. if 3 teammates in stand zone, and only 2 enemies, you team get points every sec, if 3vs3 in zone, nobody get. when time is up, team with more score win.
Why i think this game mode needed. It is actually help educate player How to play in hawken. This motivate you moving every time, use boost always, and you can fight in every place of map. it is not Siege-mode, where you always use stupid algorythm "E1->AA->Die->Repeat"
so, it is actually
- learn and see every map corner (srsly, i play on lostEco many times, but i still don't know what is on the borders of the map. because there is no need to go when you're playing in a MA or siege)
- habit to always moving, use boost and other game features, and not stand like stupid.
- learn stay with team to win, and moving with team (hey, it is important)
- adopt to fight in different situations (you should fight on open space, or defend zone under bridge, where enemies attacking from above, etc. many situations where every can give you some new experience, bad or good)
it is much more better game-mode for hawken than siege or dumb CTF which people want (where tou just moving from A to B point, or playing in "king of the hill"... i mean siege)
3) Siege.
Siege is Predictable. i love this game mode (bacoz no one play in MA xD), but it is still stupid.
allow ship start attacking base after 50% of way and starting deal a massive damage to enemy base, make every next ship much more stronger. in ideal, 3 ship should be so much deadly and can be blocked only by another ship. team which lose their ship first lose. siege game should be maximum 20-25 min. not 30. not 40. or even more (sometimes)
And made siege more like "objective gameplay". restrict people shoot in ship and bring EU when enemy ship launching, make it invulnerable to damage (for example, you can destroy ship turrets, but you can't shoot in engine), if you don't go at AA (whole 6 ppl) or don't follow current objectives, your lose.
5) Leave and ragequit.
People who disconnect can return in fight in one minute without any penalty (if your PC reset, or game crushed, or internet is die). If you press "quit" you will see a warning. "If you abandon the game, you get a 2-minute penalty, and will not be admitted to the games or the "Server Browser"
if you trying to abuse "leavers system" (connect to the same match, and leave again and again, etc. not allowing balancer to put new players.) you start accumulate "leave points". each leave point increase your penalty by one minute.
it is mean, that if you have 3 leave points, and made ragequit, you will got 2 min+3 min=5 min of penalty. next time you got 6 min, etc. penalty time not counting if you close hawken client. when you launch game again, penalty is still be here and you should waiting your 5 min. deal with it. after some time you "leave points" disapear.
6) 180-spin Feedback.
I see an E3 video, where random guy playing on X-box on Predator and Vanguard. It was funny when he start randomly use 180-spin in fight. :D
So, just delete this function from game. seriously.
Added "ground 180-spin" for current "air-180" internal. i.e. you can do 180 only with equiped internal. it is assumed that you know what you're doing if you use this internal, and it is totally your fault if you equip it.
I know i tell/ask many times about the same things. But i will be whining every time, while it is not done! xD
